Re Saban, he took a roster that was 1-15 before his arrival and went 16-16 with them over the next couple of seasons so I wouldn't say he sucked as a HC. He also wanted to sign Brees but ran into obstacles with Dolphins management and ultimately that's why he left. As a Pats fan I'm very glad we didn't have to deal with Brees in the division.

I am not convinced that either Young or Mac won't be decent to good QBs some day. They just need to be developed better and put in the right system. Neither got that the first time around.

But Saban's job was to win championships for Bama, not develop QBs for the NFL.

16-16 doesn't suck but .443 or whatever number you throw around does?

And Rob some QB just don't get it look at Lance and some others. They put Players around Young but he just never improved he actually held them back. You shouldn't suck with a Vet like Thielen at WR I forgot to mention him.

Bryce Young sucking doesn't mean that a rookie and a second year WR are suddenly going to be great.

Breer’s report indicates that maye will play eventually as long as the team starts to look like it did week 1 and 2. That plan i can agree with, that sort of performance with a potential boost in qb play could be a competitive team and we’ll finally have a real chance to see what the wr’s can do. If we are more like the team that showed up last Thursday we’re not going to gain or learn anything from maye being in there. Only bad things can result from that.
