Check the pressures and sacks allowed. Jordan isn't the problem. He was only added this year after Sow was injured. He is an OK backup OG and emergency #3 C.

I like Robinson's future. Mayo likes Robinson's future. But his future isn't now. When Sow returns, I would not be surprised to see Robinson be removed as a starter. Either Sow or Onwenu should be starting. Wallace isn't a LT. We should see if he is a RT. Give him reps at RT and perhaps we will have a solid RT starter next year, or at worst our backup RT and OL on jumbo sets.

What did Wallace show you that would make him better on the right than the left?

We started a Practice Squad player (2 weeks ago) at LG.
We started a solid top veteran at C (Yay!)
We started a rookie at RG who is a total disaster on any pass down, and who allows the most pressures and sacks.
We started a top NFL RG at RT.

Yeah agree I don't even know why I responded to the post. Those people you can't ever change thier ideology. I'll say this.. whoever if it wasn't mayo became HC the team was still in a rebuild.. would Vrabel, Harbough, paguano, for example have them better with Brissett at QB?

I suppose that it seems right to put down the team when a poor OL is doing its best with their starting LT and LG out on injuries, and two of our new players are on their 3rd game (Wallace, Robinson, Jacobs and Thomas).

The OL was at their worst. I think that we did learn something that most already knew. Wallace is not our future at LT. He seems unlikely to even have a future as a swing OT.

We will have somewhat "better" linemen with
1) Robinson is replaced at RG by Sow or Onwenu.
2) Lowe and Jacobs as our LT's.

Why are we playing these players? What COACH decided that?
We have a jag and a guy who at best belongs in a practice squad injured and you think that’s an impossible expectation for a coach to overcome?

Though I am opposed to DEi as a political matter, I do not think DEI is very relevant to Mayo's hire. I do think the emphasis on what a "nice guy" Mayo is was a foolish distraction, and that the weight put on the fact that Mayo and Robert fell in love on the Israel trip was childish and misguided. I also think all the new age happy talk stuff is a silly distraction, and I do not think Mayo's experience pushing papers around in a business setting has any real relevance to his merits as a prospective HC. I further think that the Krafts would have been wiser, given the depths to which the team had fallen and the consequently extensive rebuild required, to have hired an experienced HC rather than a newbie for the job

It is too early to form any sort of definitive judgment on Mayo as HC, but the hiring process was problemtic, verging on ridiculous.

Kraft said yesterday that he choose Mayo as the next HC before he ever spent a single day coaching.

That’s not true. Kraft brought Mayo into coaching. Because he impressed him in an airport during a layover.

You realize there were other choices besides Mayo and the only coach (interim) with less experience.
Actually according to when Kraft says he made the decision Saturday had more because he coach some high school.
