No. AVP didn't have a great game either. Seattle's D was a step ahead of us most of the day, and I think they'll do that to a lot of teams. Not arguing to keep playing Jacoby, he's gotta step it up real quick - just that today wasn't all on him.

That’s not a top 5 defense. We should have scored 30 today with a legit qb. We refuse to throw the ball 10 yards and still punked their run D.

Dugger said that play was on him. He changed the play and miscommunicated it to Gonzalez.

Is Jacoby ever going to even hit the 200 yards passing mark ? Is he incapable or is just over conservative call playing ? We have play makers but he never even looked at them today .

I didn't read the majority of the responses here and I'm probably in the minority on this but I'm okay with the loss. Anything that gets Drake out there sooner. Of course I wanted to win but I also don't want Brissett being out there longer than he needs to be. If he is going to make rookie mistakes like that huge game changing sack he took today, then I'd rather watch Maye make those mistakes. One guy has huge upside and can learn from it and the other guy is who he is.

If you told me in July that we would start off 1-1,

I would have expected reactions to be largely fine,

But today we got such interesting hot takes as “the entire defense are JAGs including Gonzalez” and also “Drake Maye is no better than Daniel Jones” (when Maye hasn’t even played yet)

This place sure is interesting sometimes.
