Fwiw... One of the things I look at is trends... Like buffalo v Miami... Buffalo has beaten the a lot over the last few years etc...

Absolutely, that was why I put money on Buffalo Thursday. Unfortunately those games usually hit the over as well so I got burned there. The over was looking great before Tua went down. After that there wasn't a need for any further scoring by Buffalo or the wherewithal for any as far as Miami was concerned.

I'm wrestling with this week's choice. Had it narrowed down to LAC and The WFT since Tuesday but there's this vague sense of unease about taking Washington. Why does Vegas have the line so tight on that game? That line opened at 3 then quickly dropped to 1.5 and has stayed there. They didn't build Vegas 'cause The Man doesn't know his stuff...

I can see that although the reasoning might be a touch different. I've been looking for a solid reason to bet on Washington. My 'gut' along with what little football sense I have says they should win comfortably. Like cover a 3 spot sorta comfortable. So why the hell hasn't that line gone back up? OTOH I didn't hesitate to take LAC off the -3 open reasoning that number was only going up, which it did.

My hem and haw came from not wanting to use as good a team as LAC as a suicide picks in week 2 vs how often am I going to like Washington this year?
