From the article, it seems some are convinced he knew way more about Spygate than meets the eye. I always thought that was on Bill. Nobody else.

No but you're close, it is named for the molester's father, Lamar Hunt Sr. Hard to argue against the AFC championship trophy being named for the guy who founded the AFL regardless of his questionable parenting skills.

every owner in the HoF has made a push for enshrinement in one way or another.

I do not care if RKK has done the hard sell on his candidacy or has just been pressing flesh behind the scenes.

If they can put schmucks like Jerry Jones and Ralph Wilson in the HoF, RKK is surely worthy of such accolades.

Hope he gets in before he goes to the great massage parlor in the sky...

A guy who unites people, who was instrumental on the TV deals for the league.. has done so much for the NFL.. not to mention all the Lombardis he was a contributing factor in... I think the validity of some of the HOF voter's have come into question the last several years.

The way this is going it likely will be a posthumous Induction.

Pat Bowlen? His resume is no more substantial than Roberts

I'm confused about Debartolo and Bowlen. Not Wilson.

Wilson was a big part of keeping the AFL alive long enough to merge with the NFL by floating loans to other teams and stopping a bad TV deal (and getting a better one). He was a key factor in merging the two leagues. He founded and was the sole owner of his team for his entire life.

Bowlen seems to just be 'owner for long time'. His case was he was on a lot of committees, which personally, I don't see as a reason to be in the hall. "Part of a committee" is like a participation trophy. Like every owner is on some committee in the NFL. If it was me voting, I'd want a lot more information about how he was instrumental in making these deals.

Debartolo's case is even weaker. It was entirely they won championships while he was owner. That's awesome for the team, but I'm not sure it's a case for Hall of Fame of the entire NFL. Again, I'd want details about how he specifically contributed and how that benefited the league. The only public info was "he was generous to the people around him".

They're both weak cases imo. That criteria however has been established and if that is the criteria then Kraft should have easily sailed into the hall. He's has similar accolades as both of them.

Regardless of my feelings about Kraft which are not positive, it pisses me off to no end how HOF voters make voting about "their feelings".

People are either worthy or not, what you think about the guys is irrelevant. They used same pathetic excuse for Owens and others. Get over yourself. The HOF are about the people that deserve to get in and not about your petty feelings.
