Oh, that wasn't a question, sorry.The unloved.
So far as I know, which ain't far, Jacoby is indeed a "good guy." There is no correlation, however, between "showing emotion" and being a worthwhile, moral human being. Convicted defendants cry all the time when they are sentenced, for example, acting on emotion indeed drives much crime and ill-behavior, and there are certainly occasions where yielding to one's emotions is irresponsible. The Oprahfication of our culture has gone too far. Chins up, buttercups, fer crissake. There is nothing wrong with people showing emotion. Good for Jacoby, he’s a good guy who appreciates what he’s earned.
Ok…strange thread
I have to strongly disagree with this take.Jacoby Brissett says he cried three times before Patriots' Week 1 win over Bengals
Jacoby Brissett admitted that his emotions were high ahead of Sunday's upset win over the Cincinnati Bengals.www.cbsnews.com
Dude, you know you're just a placeholder for the real future of this team. I mean, you "won" the starting job and you're getting paid millions. Good for you. But this isn't some validation for you as a player.
I wasn't a fan of the total media lockdown Belichick had on the team for two decades but c'mon with this stuff. The only time I want to hear that the QB cried is if he was carted off with a broken leg and even then I wouldn't like it.
I'm with you. I don't think we ought to care one way or the other. My opinion of Brisset is not deflected positively or negatively by the fact that he's a weeper. I do object to the notion that weepiness is an indication of virtue in any significant way.Who cares.
How do you know he's from Oklahoma?ok boomer
Oh boy…SMH…Maybe a tear after losing the Super Bowl, 7th game of the World Series, 7 th game of the toughest playoffs , Lord Stanley… Soccer players fall down waaayyy too easily and cry about it? Imagine that.As somebody who grew up watching soccer and seeing players regularly cry after important games, I never understood the phobia of crying in our North American sports.
All it shows is how much the player cares. I always like seeing it in my teams. I would rather that than players who smile and laugh after losses.
Thank you for your service.I have some PTSD issues from my time in Iraq, I worked in a tent hospital and daily pulled patients off of helicopters some times living and sometimes unrecognizable due to a bombing. There were several times that I cried as a professional member of the military and on the battle field.
Still cry at times now despite years of therapy. I also understand that I am an incredibly emotional person and others can also be that way. I can't understand your stance but respect the fact that you feel that way about our current undefeated starting QB.
This Jakobi play made me both laugh and cry at the same time.
