I had a feeling that the Pats players would play 110% so Mayo could win his opening game.We hadn't won on opening day in 4 years
The Bengals fumbled alot. The defense made them look awful
No I'd rather stir the potNot sure why?????
A BB disciple just coached the team to a win.
A BB disciple just ran the defense to almost shut out a preseason SB contender.
A BB draft pick QB led the offense to low respectable finish.
The game plan used was classic BB.
BUT ALL THAT SAID; Can we just let it go (all the TB and BB comparison crap & hate).
-Let’s just enjoy the new Pats and for 6 days revel in …“tied for first place in the division „
He was wide open for the winning TD. He was 20 yards behind the defense.Haven't seen one yet but is MHJ a bust already? Murray barely looked at him. I thought he was the greatest WR talent ever (and I foolishly drafted him in FF).
If only they’d started Maye…
Really tight game made every situation important so absolutely credit to Mayo!Well, I didn't expect that, which is another way of saying I was wrong. Maybe this won't be typical going forward, but today they played hard, looked well prepared and coached in-game, gang management looked pretty seamless, they looked to be in far better shape than the opposition, the players obviously support their coach.
The o-line looked...decent. Huh?
So apologies, to whom I'm not sure.
Not having Mac Jones. No one sane argues what BB once was.
The argument is that he was NO LONGER what he was for some reason.
I think we just saw a throwback BB game plan actually executed because AVP is a better OC than Patricia was and the players bought into the gameplan and coaching staff.
Honestly, I don’t think it’s possible to play much better than they did. They played so much better than I was expecting.
Saw Coach get the gameball... Rham should also get one... He put the O on his shoulders and carried 'em the whole game
Energy is right, i noticed they had a different energy, vibe, attitude etc. It reminded me of the early Brady years. They played hard, hit hard, they had their heads in the game.Well said. Many of us felt that final two years was a train wreck where the team had no chance before kickoff even happened…but I I feel like today proved it.
Totally different energy.
Watch your mouth talking to the president of the Mac Jones fan club. I have two wins today already with the Pats winning and Jax losing with Lawrence. Don't be my third.I hope you feel better soon.
Are you going to complain about their draft position after a win all year? What's your point?
Sounds like Thorton last yearHe was wide open for the winning TD. He was 20 yards behind the defense.
This is all wrong.Yeah I don't agree with this sentiment at all. BB managed to flub so many offensive skill picks in his last 5 or 6 years. His ST fell apart at the end too. It looks like the team was quitting on him that last year too.
I think the game has passed BB by at the end from the looks of things and he didn't hesitate to pick Jones at 15. So the end really was on him. Also the wayb they handled the Brady departure was just criminal. The word behind the scenes was that he built a case to show Kraft just how much he had declined. When that really wasn't the case. If there was one guy you could bet on beating father time, it's TB
just keep in mind they ran more than a few plays with a 6 man ol.Well, I didn't expect that, which is another way of saying I was wrong.
Giants will pick a QB, so no threat to our OL needs.1st pick in the draft is gone, but that wasn't the reality. Too much defensive talent plus a little from the offense and they are out of that. Probably still a top 5 but nobody is worse than the Panthers, maybe even the Giants. They are TERRIBLE.
