OT: Tyreek Hill detained outside stadium prior to Dolphins game, plans to play today

Don’t know how fast Tyreek was going,, but in Miami doing 90 in the fast lane is considered slow.

The only thing that’s mind boggling ; how this individual continually gets in trouble with the law, but not with the league…. Still a media darling. Just watched an ad that featured Hill.

You can cuff and arrest without putting someone face down on the concrete and he's already out so Lucy got some splaining to do IMO.
It'll be interesting to see.

We know sometimes, some cops are bad.

We also know (or should all know) that 100% of the time when you resist, cops are forced to go one degree of force higher than you.

I still don’t get how people expect to be treated well when they do not comply with a leo….bet your ass I’d be on the ground if one told me to do it and I’d expect to get stomped if I didn’t. Doest matter how innocent I think I am..

Drew Rosenhaus on the pregame shows saying that poor Tyreek wants to be a police officer in the future.

I’m sure this will be considered tampering by us…

WOW.. Wreckless Driving outside the stadium..

Human garbage.

I was too busy laughing and forgot to change my weekly pick on the dolphins. Also forgot to cancel my bet, gonna cost me some Ian Bouttecoins.

So for the “integrity” of the nfl, dude gets to play after being arrested on nfl grounds…how is this even possible? How was he even able to play? I think we know what will happen discipline wise…nothing.

The moment I saw Calais Campbell got cuffed for trying to de-escalate and said “excessive force” my view changed.

Cop was put on Admin duty awfully fast.

This looks like a very bad overreaction by an overzealous cop.

I’m no fan of Hill, and generally support cops BUT some of these cops believe they themselves are Godlike and beyond question in their actions.

Can’t have that in a free society

+1 +1 +1

I hate to give Tyreek the benefit of the doubt, but one of the videos I saw did appear as though one of the cops used excessive force on a handcuffed individual. I gladly admit there is more which needs to come out but just stating my initial impression, and I reserve the right to change my mind as more does come out.

He wasn't arrested, he was detained - and a player shouldn't be suspended with a couple hours notice based on nothing but having been detained by the police for a traffic violation.

Knee in the back on a traffic stop for speeding doesn’t seem appropriate

I agree. There should be an investigation and, if appropriate, some serious punishment and/or termination.

This deserves a thorough investigation, but I nevertheless have not one iota of sympathy for Hill and would not be upset if it happened to him every week.
