The only contributing factor was the C's checked in for their flights before tip-off and were re-routed to the stadium to play as opposed to boarding their plane.

I generally never underestimate any team that has gotten to a championship round. Both Dallas and Edmonton showing how they got there. Slamming that door shut to win the 4th game is extremely difficult, as it should be.

I used to believe that pro athletes should not require extra motivation to play well. They're paid millions of dollars, blah, blah.

As I've gotten older I recognize their humanity more. Being destroyed in the press and on social media for 2-3 days has an effect on you. Both Dallas and Edmonton were completely different teams in game 4.

Now the question is can they sustain it.

I'm cautiously optimistic and will say they win at home.. I'll say this.. if KP is available then he needs to play.. he had plenty of time off this season... he can fully recover in the off season.. no nba player is 100% anyways.. we loose tomorrow.. I can guarantee you it's going to a game 7..

Yep. And the flipside is true too, I think the Celtics felt they had this series won after game three. Now they’ve been slapped down, they should come out and I think will come out much differently tomorrow night.

Oh I definitely get it. I know that he was available if needed on Friday. By now kidd has already attacked out weakness without KP offensive rebounding. Hopefully he can fully recover and be ready next season

The issue with Porzingis before was usage and pain management. The issue now is that plus effectiveness. I don’t expect him to play again unless it’s to get mop up minutes in a win.

Wich is unfortunate becuase.. we need him. When he played game 1 we had the ultimate advantage.. his mid range game is money. He defense I'm the paint is sorely missed. God bless al but he's gassed. We need to try something different or else we are heading back to Dallas.

Agreed. The only thing I don’t like is that Luca and Kyrie were 1-14 from three in game four, so if anything it could’ve been worse. Of course the rest of Dallas was over 60% from three, so that should go down.

What about Dallas' performance surprised you? Luka and Kyrie went off, some role players chipped in and Boston was a no show on both sides of the ball. It wasn't rocket science.

The Celtics played poorly for the first time in a month.

Offense fluctuates. Defense is mostly constant.

Let's hope so. That 4th quarter of game 3 is what worries me. Did Dallas figure out something that they were able to continue with in Game 4?

Boston has not been forced to adjust to anything throughout these playoffs. They may have to now. Let's see how they respond.

That 86 team will always be the best that ever was in my eyes. But like you said, you can't compare eras.

This team would destroy the 86 team just on sheer athleticism alone. There's no one on that team who could guard these guys.

The Celtics big guys (Bird, McHale, Parish and Walton) would have a field day with this Celtics team or any other current team. And they all played good to great defense, including Ainge and DJ in the backcourt.

And I won't get into the Russell teams that won 11 of 13 years, but they were loaded too. They also played much deeper teams than any current teams play.

Let's all hope for a big win tonight. Won't be easy but Cs need to come out with the right mentality and put this team away. Like to see JM tweak a few things.
