This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.
At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.
Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.
This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.
If you do you will have your account suspended.
I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.
It will be interesting to see what Kraft does for Bill. I think in a few years he'll get taken care of. I know Brady was only retired one season but he had been gone from here longer so Kraft was very anxious to bring him back in the fold. After Bill coaches somewhere else or enough time passes then it will be his turn.
I think putting up a similar statue would make sense not sure if a full stadium event would work but if they think they can fill the stadium I wouldn't be surprised.
Wow! Quite the event. I honestly had no idea they would open the stadium for 60k fans for this one. I figured a private type of ceremony in the Pats HOF that would just be streamed. Wow! Quite the attendance by players and fans alike. I would pay Netflix to watch this one rather than the 3+ hour roast thingy.
Great job as usual by the fans here giving the rest of us a play by play. Thanks
It felt like it was BB's farewell speech as much as honoring TB
He made it a point to honor all his coaches and players by name
Not a mention of Kraft nor Mayo
I have to say when Brady and teammates were talking about what it takes to make a great player and team
I was thinking. I hope Drake and the gang were absorbing those words of wisdom
You didn't miss much. It was just Brady being greeted by all the other red-jacketed Patriots Hall of Famers onstage where they posed for photos, followed by a fireworks display.
You mentioned Ray Lewis' two video greetings which were among quite a few. Some of them we couldn't hear because they got drowned out by booing -- him, Eli Manning, Richard Sherman. Mahomes drew the loudest boos of all, from the second his face appeared onscreen we couldn't hear a word he said. Pretty much the same for Eli, then minutes later his brother strolls in to a warm welcome.

They also immediately pulled the video of the entire event from every social media account. For anyone who couldn't see it live, that's really disappointing. Hopefully they're just editing it and plan on re-posting it, but I'm a little surprised they did that.

I don't think it was normal Booing. In some cases there were even cheers that turned to boos as the crowd noticed who it was. I think it was more in good fun. Mahomes' boos might have been a little jealousy laced.
And as @Steve102 stated having Peyton there was definitely just like the Magic/Bird moment and was definitely pretty cool.
Just heard on Patriots unfiltered that they will try to post as much of last nights show other than the parts they do not hold the rights for eg Jay Z singing (Licensing ?) .........I am no expert in this but at least there will be something for those of us that did not see the show live.

Bill is not going to mention Kraft under any voluntary circumstances. If pushed, he'll mention some positives and move on.
Mayo was a good player but he's kind of far down the list of iconic Brady era defenders. And as a coach he didn't have much of a role during Brady's tenure. There was zero reason to mention him.
It is priceless getting our younger additions, the opportunity to witness this and remind them of the Pats’ legacy they are following, and hopefully inspire them to become part of in the next chapter.
