Facts don’t care about your feelings.

If schedule is why the defense looked better it’s also why Brady looked better. I don’t believe this sht, because that’s what it is.
What great QB did the Patriots defense face in the division? Mark Sanchez? You can't talk about defensive PPG if the Patriots had an advantage like that over those other teams. The division's defense was pretty good. Rex Ryan's Jets, the Dolphins had Madison and Surtain in the early 2000s and the Bills had some really good defenses too... Brady overcame it all without breaking a sweat more often than not.
The AFC East was one of the toughest divisions in football for the first decade of the dynasty. Afterwards great coaches didn’t want to go there. They still played the NFC and teams from other divisions. The notion that schedule is why the Pats had consistently great teams for two decades is garbage.
Facts don't care about your feelings.
The notion that Brady is why they had consistently great defense, OLines, weapons and special teams is bigger garbage. He gave them consistently great QB play starting in 2003 and going forward… that’s it.
How have those defenses, O-Lines et al looked after Brady left?
Manning won 3 games his rookie year and led the NFL in interceptions… but he played, Brady sat. Nobody is arguing Jim Mora is the best coach in history because Bill’s record reflects that and Jim’s doesn’t. Everything else you wrote is word salad nonsense. Jim Mora got fired because he couldn’t field a good defense and they hired Dungy… a defensive coach. Mora went 32-32 with Manning… laughable.
I wasn't talking about Mora.
BB has the most playoff wins in history and most Super Bowls in the modern age and that chaos your butt… being a hater and all.
There should be a Brady wing of the Hall of Fame and that's where BB's bust should go. Numbers don't lie. No coach turned from great to lousy almost overnight like Bill did after Brady left. Yes Bill didn't have the horses anymore... so maybe he should have taken that problem up with our GM. Oh wait....

Wozzy, you probably know I agree with you 100% but you got to let it go. We know that the Patriots won because of BB and TB. I don't know why it's so important to some to elevate Brady and denigrate Bill, but's that's their issue. Just let them think what they want. Don't waste time and energy because they will have a rebuttal every time that supports their position.

Congrats on derailing yet another thread with your Brady knob slobbing… nobody does it better.

In other words... you have no rebuttal. Fair enough cause there isn't any.

I think they won because of the entire operation and all the great players that came through the door. They don’t win those early rings without Seymour, Adam V and others.

Trying to attribute it all to one or two people is the problem… but one guy oversaw it all.

There’s no rebuttal to garbage. It’s a team sport… you’ll never understand that. You’re a fanboy.

Yes it is a team sport. Players win games and coaches lose them and we certainly have seen that last part play out the last few years.

You holding up Jim Mora’s 32-32 records with Peyton Manning as some example of how QB’s make coaches is hilarious.

Two times in Mora’s Peyton run he fielded middle of the pack defenses and twice bottom five defenses in points allowed.

The funniest part is the Colt’s played in the AFC East at that time…. oops.

I always appreciated the defensive players the most. Ted Washington plugging the middle. Tedy Bruschi stonewalling Oakland on 2nd and short in the snow game, Willie McGinest, my favorite playmaker perfectly executing BB's game plans., Ty law, brash playmaker, Rodney, underrated Phifer and Pleasant, Vince, Hightower looking like Willie. So many more. One of the greatest team accomplishments that doesn't get much play was the 21-game win streak. We were lucky to have them all.

The biggest myth of the Patriot dynasty was that they did it with no talent… just Bill and Tom.

There were great players on those teams who gave up individual stats and accolades for the team… so they could win rings.

Why didn’t Peyton make Mora great instead of getting him fired.

The reason your nonsense falls apart under any critical thinking whatsoever is because the stats don’t reflect reality.

The GOAT what? HC? Well, he's top 3. GM? That's what he sucks at.

Of course, as the past few years have proved, players are 100 times more important than coaches. Even one of the greatest coaches of all time barely stumbles to 4 wins when he doesn't have the players.
He's the GOAT at both GM and Coach. He might not be the GOAT drafter but if you combine Drafting with all the other aspects of being a GM the score board still shows 6 rings which no other GM has ever been close too.

Not to mention Bill has Drafted several Hall of Famers like Seymour, Gronk, Brady, and we'll see who else gets in. He had a few lean years drafting but I'd have to do a deep dive into other GMs draft to actually score this but I suppose Bill probably wouldn't land number 1 as just a drafter.

And all GMs and Coaches need Players so I'm not sure how your opinion that players are 100 times more important than coaches is at all relevant. That's relevant for those that like to debate BB v TB. But this is about BB v other coaches/GMs.

Cool so if Bill was this great developer of QBs why did he fail (spectacularly I might add and by much of his own doing) to develop any other QB most notably Mac Jones?
Because Mac Jones SUCKED. It's not rocket science.

Because Manning wasn't playing well enough to carry their weak defense. Also, the defense was a big problem and management didn't think Mora was the guy to fix it. As soon as Dungy was fired, he was immediately hired by Indy. They won at least 10 games in each year during his 7 year stint in Indy.

It's very clear Mora just wasn't a good coach.

That's just a strawman you made up.

It's also not rocket science to conclude that it is a terrible idea to bring in two bozos in over their heads to run your offense and develop your first round pick QB beyond the kid who had a half decent rookie season and risking losing the locker room but...well that happened anyway.

Some coaches can develop QB's. Some can't.
