JT got skittish with a few shots, yes. Our offense would've been nada if it weren't for many of his drive and kicks or dump offs to Jrue tonight.

But I agree we won, lets enjoy it. Hope that wasn't KP's calf.

Holiday was player of the game. JT had bad shooting and a few rough plays. But the offense, in good part, worked because of Tatum's drives. He had 12 assists. First guy Jrue credited in his interview was Tatum.

I think Jrue is the leading candidate for Finals MVP if we win. Only game 2 but we'll see.

Holiday was player of the game. JT had bad shooting and a few rough plays. But the offense, in good part, worked because of Tatum's drives. He had 12 assists. First guy Jrue credited in his interview was Tatum.

I think Jrue is the leading candidate for Finals MVP if we win. Only game 2 but we'll see.

Holiday is such a cerebral player, finding those gaps in the defense all night and cutting for easy layups. Tatum heads up passing. That kept them in the game the first half. Easy layups and free throws when nothing else was working.

Brown also has a very credible Finals MVP claim IMO.

White, Holiday and KP have really changed this series from a defensive pov. Holiday has always been a dog but KP and White's ability to effect the rim, change/block shots has been a killer.

I'll admit I was worried about the last 4 mins going into this series bc of the obvious (Luka & Irving) but our best 6-7 has shown up big time. Steven's put one hell of a team together. I'm not the biggest Mazz fan but he's been good as well.

Nice being up 2-0, yet still having enough warts after tonight that hopefully prevent any chance of being complacent. Now the challenge of the road environment and still having the mindset there is more to prove.
