I wonder if a trade-up for Parsons would have been doable.
With the benefit of seeing how things turned out, that would have been a much better option. To me the more interesting question is whether the team would have picked Mac if Brissett was the veteran incumbent.

McCorkle is such a goofball lol. Good for him though glad he's enjoying it there

That doesn't sound to me like a ringing endorsement of what he's got left. Man that contract is an albatross for the Bills... 17M this season + 15M next season of dead cap if they release him now. Maybe @GreenCow has a take on him.

This is why I’m torn on reupping Judon,
Part of me says trade him to a contender and use that pick to strengthen the offense by trading for a tackle or to sweeten the deal for a franchise WR.

Well at least he's happy.

Yeah I’ve come to either they figure out a number he’ll okay for this year without being a distraction, or trade him.

He won’t be relevant to the Pats next Superbowl appearance, so no need to overextend in my view.

Looks like Jones is entering the Jarrett Stidham social media chapter of his career.

Wouldn't mind seeing Sophie with him if he's going to do this

There are many reasons hiring Patricia and Judge should have led to Belichick's firing after that season (unless it had worked out, obviously). Either Bill was too stupid to realize they were in over their heads. Or he was too arrogant to think anybody could run an offense. OR he was pissed at the team. OR was too old and just wanted coaches he was comfortable with, no matter their qualifications.

ANY of these was enough for him to be fired. Patricia and Judge was such a monumental mistake that it should have been the sign that Belichick was done.
Great post. I'll just add this. Bill was the highest paid coach in the NFL deservedly so.. his ego is what allowed that erroneous decision.

I remember how the media and fans thought it was so cute when he was dancing on the field.

This is a strong contender for my next Avatar. Back when Mike Jones was a thing, my friend would constantly play his cd in the car. Deep down he knew how terrible of a rapper he was and it we would listen to it just to have some laughs.

By the way, those white pants with no stripes on the sides look awful.

Corky = still Clueless.
Walks like a dork, talks like a dork, dances like a dork, throws wounded dork passes, reads defenses like a dork, cries like a dork when he gets hit ... it is a duck

Was gonna text him and “thank him for a job well done”…then realized…

It's more a question of whether Mac re-signs with them. Like most backups, he probably wants to go somewhere he has a better chance to compete for starter duties. Lawrence is entrenched at QB1. And it's not like Brisket, where he can be starter until a rookie is ready. I doubt Mac will stay unless he has no good other options.
I think he will re-sign with them unless trevor gets injured and he shines.

This is a ridiculous standard.

So we going to trade Andrews, Jonathan Jones, Wise, Henry, and anyone else over 30 while we're at it too?
