And that's the before I saw that ^ there.

Really love the make up of our Two Rookie WR's one with *Great hands* Polk the other *Makes Difficult catches look easy Javon Baker*

He’s got mitts for hands. 9 3/4. Javon Baker is right behind him with 9 5/8.

Not be mistaken with Gronkowski’s hands. 10 3/4. Geez, looked that up for ****s and giggles. Can’t say I’m surprised though. When he wore his gloves it looked like the kind you’d use to pull a turkey out of an oven with.

Did Polk get any faster or more “sudden” since the draft?

Nope; and neither has Puka…What’s your point??…

Before draft day, however, there was the NFL Combine, as well as his BYU Pro Day. He measured in at 6’1 5/8? and 201 pounds. His arms were 31 1/2?, and his hand length was 9 1/2?.

When it came to the Drills, though, Nacua participated in everything. He ran a 4.57-second 40-yard dash that included 1.62-second 10-yard and 2.64-second 20-yard splits. He ran a 4.36-second 20-yard shuttle and 7.32-second three-cone drill. His vertical jump was 33?, and his broad jump was 10’1?. He also did 15 bench press reps.

Polk wouldn’t even do the shuttle or 3-cone: he might be worse than Nacua’s pedestrian performance. Besides, citing an outlier as evidence supports my argument, not yours. It’s like threading a needle: he needs to have other attributes Nacua possesses and have a top tier quarterback firing the ball in. Does he? He certainly won’t have the quarterback anytime soon. Maybe next year.

Who knows? Maybe he’ll succeed. I’ll be rooting for him.

Go back and read the thread when N'Keal Harry got drafted and you'll see 95% unbridled optimism. Maybe that's how it always is and how it should be. I AM NOT SAYING POLK IS LIKE HARRY. I am saying that arguments about these players on a post-draft thread always sound like this, no matter how bad the player turns out to be.

I certainly hope Polk becomes a great player for us, but if I had to put money down, I'm betting Adonai Mitchell will have a much better career.

I am so guilty of doing that. However this time I am right.

Nacua was a 5TH-round pick.

We need to let Harry go. Players like him succeed a lot, just not him.

Harry was a big time recruit who put up almost 60 rec/700 5td as a true FO and had 2 1k seasons / 17 TD after that. Had a very nice combine at 6'2/228 - 4.54, 27 reps, 38.5 vert, 10.2 jump. The dots were there as a prospect. It's really not hard to figure out why teams liked him.

Also it's almost accepted that the 49ers had him WR1/2 and were taking him if we didn't. Albeit not it the 1st but he would still have been a top 40 pick.

**** happens

Every fan base loves to ***** about draft misses, but they are never in the context of how the league does drafting overall, or sports overall for that matter. The bottom line is that it’s a sink or swim league. There is no minor league to learn in or go back to to get good enough for the pro’s. Hopefully Wolf will turn out to be great personnel guy on all levels.
