This afternoon Tony Mazz alluded to a possible personal issue for Tatum.

What an a*hole thing for Mazz to do. If there's anything to it, then the Boston sports media in general knows it, and is giving the guy his privacy. But not Mazz, his unaddressed insecurity just has to be the guy who knows something. And of course, he doesn't even have the courage to come out and say what it is, he just gives some vague reference.

The ironic thing is, if there's nothing to it, if Mazz is just making it up, that's actually a lesser sin in this odd case.

I hope the Timberwolves win a game or two....just to keep these Mavs playing some extra minutes....

It shouldn't. That is GREAT for us... The Celtics are a really good team with or without KP but they are on an entirely different level with KP. The extra days off helps us more than hurts us because he gets the extra rest he needs to get as close to 100% as possible.

Assuming the Mavs advance...I think they are the better choice matchup-wise for us. I mean Karl Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert in the paint vs. Daniel Gafford, P.J. Washington, Maxi Kebler, and Dereck Lively.

And I like Holiday/White on Kyrie/Doncic all day. We can't stop Doncic...but I think we can keep Kyrie and Doncic out of the paint and make them shoot jump shots instead. Although, we had a lot of trouble with Nembhard/McConnell/Garland/LeVert/Herro over the first three rounds....losing them on switches. I think if we can funnel the ball to one side of the court and cheat a bit on the weak side...but close out hard on the weak side shooter....we'll be OK.

But I would have liked to see him get 10-15 minutes of floor time in the ECF....

He'll probably need to increase his minutes through games 1-3 of the Finals...if he even plays...which is still not a given yet.

Also, what is up with Kornet's wrist? We need him to give Horford breathers. Tillman is nice...but I like Kornet's height and rim protection better.
