ABSOLUTELY disagree. Are can you guys count? Are you so enamored with ANY top WR that you will sell your soul to pay $40MM/yr to the detriment of the rest of your roster.
It's not that I'm against drafting a WR, but EVERY single year colleges send the NFL enough quality WR's so getting a good prospect in the 2nd or 3rd round is almost a guarantee.
Next year we SHOULD (IMHO) definitely be picking the best DT or edge available when we draft, which is likely going to be in the top 10, so I'm being constantly told.
We brought in virtually no one on D in this draft, and will need help. Of we do go offense first, I'd much rather choose a LT or can't miss TE if there's one available.
There will be plenty of shots to spend an obscene amount of money on WR's in FA next, when you miggMarch and THAT class is likely to be BETTER than this last one. AND larger.
Why spend that kind of $ AND a top 10 pick, when if WR is your priority, you can keep your pick and still spank y our big $ on one
They most likely will have the top pick, top 5 almost certainly.
You don't trade that away, for a guy you then have to pay.
I voted yes, but I don't that Lamb is going anywhere.
No.So if the Vikings said they would trade Justin Jefferson for the Patriots 25’ first round pick you wouldn’t do it?
No, they have already wasted one top 5 pick, who would be throwing to him?So if the Vikings said they would trade Justin Jefferson for the Patriots 25’ first round pick you wouldn’t do it?

There's still going to be one LT that's going to be head and shoulders above the rest of a thin draft class at that position. If you're picking in the top 5-10 you have an extremely good chance of getting that guy.Arch, I expected opinions to be split on this, and I get why many wouldn’t want to do it, I just think it’s an interesting discussion to have right now. I came down as a yes, but even I am torn on the decision. Primarily because I think it’s going to be a very valuable pick, and you could get an All Pro DT, Edge Rusher or CB there. As things stand right now they have to hope their current LT’s pan out, or they can get one in free agency, because it’s not a strong position in the early projections, although the 24 college season could change that.
It’s tempting. They did already invest in two receivers in the draft, though, and also have a bunch of veterans. But it would clear a need and mean you’re not hoping Polk or Baker become a #1 and instead let them grow into high end #2s which is realistic.
On the other hand, that’s a potentially very high pick lost that could have been converted into any position of need, including WR, or traded down depending on how high it is.
Lamb is one of those few WR1s who is not really a huge “diva” which is a plus.
I think the Cowboys are going to move on from Prescott after this year unless the Cowboys go deep in the playoffs. I doubt they will trade away Lamb. There is a better shot they would trade Prescott than Lamb.

Disagree all you want, how many of the recent superbowl champions had a top 5 wr? How many superbowls did the patriots win with and without Randy Moss? How did Kansas City do this year with mediocre at best wr's. Stop playing fantasy football and watch the games.WR is definitely not one of the positions I would trade a high draft pick for.
