To any team that never wants to win a Super Bowl.
He'll be good in Atlanta not great but good. My guess is he breaks the rushing record in a season for a qb. Mac gets a 5th fields gets a 4th. That's not nearly as much as some out here our saying. Go look at what patriots wire had the pats giving up to get him

You like McCarthy that much? More than Maye or Daniels
I like JJ more than Daniels because of the age difference and when JJ moves in the pocket he still keeps his head up looking to pass. JD broke from a lot of clean pockets to scramble. I do like Daniels a lot though, but the guy with the stronger arm. Maye looks like a hot mess to me, but I have been going back and forth on him. He is young enough that he can be coached but between his footwork and his release he has some big inconsistency issues.

To me, when I watch JJ he seems like he has a very repeatable release(not as fast a JD but faster than Maye). His footwork seems more refined than Maye. I also think that he is not that much slower than JD. It is close between JJ and JD and a decent gap down to Maye. It probably is a minority opinion but I see a pro bowl caliber QB, but he should not start day 1. I do think the JD could start day 1, but I would rather have the bigger arm of JJ.

I also think that JJ would fit better in a Cleveland Browns type offense.

There is absolutely no reason to give Chicago anything for a failed QB who is going to be wanting over 40 million a season 12 months from now.. They can take a QB who could be a franchise QB at 3, and still get a starting OT at # 34, and a very good WR in the 3rd, or package a pick to move back into the 2nd for them. And the rookie QB will be on a low cost 5 year deal, which leaves an extra 30-40 million or so available to use for free agents over that time.

There is just no way a poster on this website would ever say something like that.
David isn’t trash, but neither is he an upgrade.

Listen ****stick I never said I'd give anything up for fields to play for the pats. I put a trade value on him. What I think his value is for other teams on the market.

As long as we don't take JJ @ 3 he does do a lot of things well but we didn't see a lot of Big Time throws based on Michigan's high powered running Offense not his fault of course. I would take him in a Trade Down scenario getting more picks.

I think when we look at Maye most are getting Mitchell Turbiski vibes which is unfair to Maye. A poster pointed this out to me unlike Turbiski: Maye Started from Day 1 at NC I think that says a lot sign me up.

One take away regarding Bo Nix's numbers his Top WR Franklin seems like a very good Yac guy hope Franklin is on our WR board.

It looks like Caleb and Jayden are going one and two. So it's d. Maye vs jj mccarthy.
Ideally pats could trade down to 6 with the giants, pick up 2 2nds. But that leaves the door open for someone like the Broncos or Vikings to move up to 4 or 5.
I do get Herbert/Josh Allen vibes off of d. Maye. He needs to fine tune and polish up but could be great. Gotta cannon. I get the "it" vibes off jj mccarthy tho. He's at least good everywhere but great at the intangibles
The stuff you can't measure with the robot tools
