Re: Honestly, can we now all agree that Maroney is NOT the answer as an every down ba

Too bad that Marion Barber wasn't drafted in the same year as Maroney. There you go with facts getting in your way.

To have gotten Barber, the Pats would have to NOT drafted Nick Kaczur.

Who would be the Pats starting RT now?

I never said he was. I said I liked him better!!!!! When we drafted Maroney I said Barber was a better runner watching them both run at minn. Not that I wished we drafted barber over Maroney.

Taking my posts out of context again I see. The original reply I made was after dues said he would love to see what I thought of Bush.

I thought he was overrated , just like Maroney.

Maroney is a avg back. Plain and simple.

Well, just pull up those posts telling us about Bush being overrated and a bust, so we can get a glimmer of your scouting acumen.

I did not post here then. Just like you have no reason to say how you would have loved to see what I said about bush.

You asked me how I felt I told you. I did not like Bush at all.

Dues I know slomo is your binky, but the kids avg at best. The kids in slomo!

Could you post all those "Bush will be a bust" posts you made, please? After you do, could you also get PatsfaninPa, NSA and VCSPatriots to do the same?

I'd like to know if he liked Barber better, and wanted NE to draft him over Maroney, in what draft was this? See, Maroney was selected in 2006, while Barber officially became a member of the Cowboys in 2005....

Re: Honestly, can we now all agree that Maroney is NOT the answer as an every down ba

True or false listing 2 rbs that went against the grain and blossomed much later in there career says what? Now tell us about all the guys who started out slow and stayed that way. I know some people who hit the lottery. I know a helluva a lot more that did not. There's always a chance though!

They are TWO of the backs that YOU have provided in an attempt to show that Maroney isn't good. The only PROBLEM is that they didn't blossom until LATER. THey were YOUR examples. Its not my fault they support MY position and not yours.

As for you "knowing a helluva lot more that didn't" who cares. YOU, NSA, and Grizz were the ones slapping yourselves on the back for "showing everyone up" by mentioning Barber and Smith. Its too bad you fell flat on your face with the examples.

I think the list of busts would be a hulleva a lot longer.

If we had the chance to trade Maroney to a team like Denver (just saying) would you do it? If the deal would help us out?

No. I wouldn't trade Maroney because you'd be robbing Peter to pay Paul, as the saying goes. Not to mention that Denver wouldn't give the Pats what Maroney is worth.

In case you missed it, the Pats are implementing a zone blocking scheme like Denver has run for years. Once the O-line becomes more proficient at it and Maroney has learned patience and gotten his timing down, he will be much better.

Unlike you, I can see it and believe that the Pats do to. ANd because I believe they see it, I feel they will continue with Maroney's development and the development of the O-line.

Stop making things up

Dude, than why did we trade Bethel Johnson? Afterall, I'm sure we could find one or two WR guys that suddenly DEVELOPED after 4 or 5 years.

What the hell does Bethel Johnson have to do with ANYTHING?

BTW, moron, how many years did Bethel spend on the pats? 3. That's right. 3 before the Pats shipped him out.

Oh, will you give it up? We aren't running the ball better with SLoMo because we are in the process of implementing a run-blocking scheme? Good lord. These excuses are so bad it's emabrassing. Funny, but Corey Dillon came into town and ran rough shot in year #1. Oh wait, I forgot, that's because he was a 8 year veteran. LOL! Give me a break. Adrian Peterson would be a monster on this offense. I laugh at DaBruinz who points to Peterson's mediocre showing against the 49ers. Gee, DabRuinz, you don't think it's a little tougher for Peterson to run when he is the FOCUS of the defense, plays behind Tavares Jackson, and sees 8 men in the box a lot? Wake up. Your excuses for Maroney are sad.

I see. Looks like Maroney is 75 percent there!

Re: Honestly, can we now all agree that Maroney is NOT the answer as an every down ba

You are confusing my argument with what NSA said.

Until Brady has the attempts you claim he will , you cannot say that is a fact he will have x numbers of anything. Speculation is not fact. I can speculate LoMo will always run the way he does. You tell me thats insane.

You are the guy who expects arguments to be based on facts. You are not basing that argument on facts.

Also Manning was taken out of a bunch of games early , especially late in the season.

You truly are pathetic. I didn't confuse your imbecillic argument with that of NSA. But you aren't smart enough to understand that.

I didn't say it was fact, moron. I said he was on pace for. The likelyhood of it happening is much greater than anything YOU have provided.

Who cares if Manning was taken out of games. So was Edgerrin James. So were Wayne and Harrison. What's your point? Oh wait. You don't have one.

Yes you did. I was not the one talking about the backs. NSA was. Haha good one da excuses.

Because you keep waiting for these guys to magically EMERGE and point to 1 or 2 exceptions and not the RULE. For every Tiki Barber there has been tons of others that NEVER got better. It's the o-line's fault, Maroney's only 22, our passing game is too good, he's coming back from injury, he's "learning" the offense, yada, yada, yada. The kid sucks. Deal with it.

Re: Honestly, can we now all agree that Maroney is NOT the answer as an every down ba

Oh I see so people who do not think Maroney is a good back should be gone for posting about it in a MARONEY thread.

HAHAH , great laugh.

There goes your lack of reading comprehension again. I never said that people who do not think Maroney is a good back should be gone from posting.

Unlike you, I understand that not all rectangles are squares, but that all squares are rectangles.

I see. Looks like Maroney is 75 percent there!

Two is not 75 percent of three, genius.

Scathing truth. I suspect a 3000 word excuse from da bruinz to this simple fact.

My god I was not being sarcastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You got me Jack

Re: Honestly, can we now all agree that Maroney is NOT the answer as an every down ba

can't go with "What if's" Prime.......it is what it is.....and it isn't pretty....that having been said.....it is not all Maroney's fault...it starts with the OL.....

Don't tell that to the Maroney haters, STC. According to them, its all Maroney and the O-line isn't at fault at all.
