I care more about my team, the Patriots, than individuals no longer on my team.

I can't speak for BB but (unless he is losing his mind) I could see him taking that approach. Go in, set them up with a good foundation and a transition plan.the super bowl is really a non issue at this point, and realistically should not be part of the Atlanta evaluation. No coach has ever won the Super Bowl with 2 different teams. Back to competitive? That should be the goal. Then replace him after the rebuild.
And only two QB's have managed the feat, the first being Peyton Manning followed by Tom Brady.

I don't know how I could've been any clearer.I was gonna include the OL as well which just further proves the point. I mean look at the 'weapons' you've listed:
Sanu - 2nd round pick for this fat ****? lolol
Harry - whatare you trying to suggest here, that we tried? I think he's one of the few things the forum can all agree on, utter garbage.
AB - how many games did he play again? How much did we get to use him with Tom before Bob pulled the trigger?
Dorsett - somehow the best of the lot but that's not saying much. Not a bad player, likeable but christ that's not enough to keep Tom around and win a SB.
Edelman- if anything he was the one on the wane. Can't remember if it was that season but mans hands turned to bricks.
Either way, the point is it was never on Brady and I'm surprised so many thought that. Media are sharks, they were just desperate for it to be true, they're not genuine they just throw **** at a wall n hope it sticks.
So you thought those were good moves yeah? Superbowl contending moves?I'm suggesting they threw a 1st, a 2nd, a 4th and 2 6th round picks at veteran WRs and a rookie in order to give Tom weapons.
2019 the writing was on the wall.
I'm not understanding why you're not understanding what I wrote. They put a lot of resources, TOO MUCH, into giving Tom weapons. Some of the resources were things Tom demanded (Sanu, AB) and the fact they didn't work out is on all of them, BB, the Krafts and Tom Brady. Because they pressured the situation into something that was not good for the long term health of the Patriots. So you thought those were good moves yeah? Superbowl contending moves?
Didn't need hindsight to see they were nothing special. The only remotely special one was AB and he played 1 game. Plus we got him because Tom begged for him.
I'm not understanding why you're talking from a completely different point, then banging on like I'm not understanding what you're saying? Maybe if you talk about the point it'd help.I'm not understanding why you're not understanding what I wrote. They put a lot of resources, TOO MUCH, into giving Tom weapons. Now, I don't know what I would have done. They were probably looking at one last go round toward a Super Bowl.
But in hindsight, giving up so much draft capital when your OL is completely injured, and your QB is acting a little pissy (largely because everyone knew he was on the way out anyway), it was a bad idea. The whole Tom and AB thing was sordid, even Tom's reaction to it all.
It's a big media market, with a yay-hoo media. Some stuff from Florio: Arthur Blank, Bill Belichick meeting on a one-on-one basis says a lot
The interesting items are:
Doesn’t indicate any direct sources, just what he’s hearing other disinterested parties say.
- - a belief in league circles that Atlanta will happen
- - a belief in league circles that both the Eagles and Cowboys reached out to Belichick and were turned down, before deciding to stick with their current coaches,
- - a belief that the reason for that is that Belichick is done dealing with big-market media (apparently they think Atlanta is small market, despite what I posted yesterday)
I've got a little vengeful streak in me.
Don't judge me too harshly.
A V word does come to mind when it comes to you but it isn’t vengeful.I've got a little vengeful streak in me.

Tom was gone already. He was gone. I was one of the few here saying he still had it. I'll find my posts if you want. But I was already looking at reality. The break up already happened the prior year. His antics in 2019 were unbecoming for him, everything from yelling at everyone, showing a ton of frustration, to getting mad that the crazy child-threatener was cut. There was no way to salvage this either since all the old players were leaving in the next couple of years, and the team clearly needed a total rebuild. Trading picks for veterans to appease Tom, which I'm assuming would be the likely outcome of keeping him, would've been counterproductive.I'm not understanding why you're talking from a completely different point, then banging on like I'm not understanding what you're saying? I don't care what they spent to give him **** weapons, he had nobody good to throw to bar AB for one game and Edelman as normal. Now my point from the off was that it was obviously not Brady turning ****, are you saying it was? And standing by that now? Jesus wept.
Why you keep banging on about whether it was a good idea for one last go around I've got no idea, its completely irrelevant to whether Tom was good or not in 2019. If you thought he was fading then, you were mad then. If you still think it now, you're even more mad.
Was that your Halloween costume? Nice job, hides how grotesquely fat you are.A V word does come to mind when it comes to you but it isn’t vengeful.
I call BS on those rumors. Some stuff from Florio: Arthur Blank, Bill Belichick meeting on a one-on-one basis says a lot

All of them? Just for the record, of course.I call BS on those rumors.
The last 2.All of them? Just for the record, of course.
Lol, who said that? Bring it mfer. So, you want to indulge your harsh vengence, but you don’t want us to be harsh towards you?
Got it, snowflake.
