lol rolling on the ground laughing my nutz off … cause this guy … haha … who doesn’t have head coaching experience … hahaha … who didn’t even have a real “ title “ … haha … is gonna be better than what we just had … haha lol … here’s to the next 4 years of sucking azzzz… ha wow !!!
4 wins bro. If he hits 5, he was better.

That old dogs tricks worked and brought us a superbowl 4 years ago.

We've had 2 seasons out the playoffs and people act like he's suddenly turned awful. Last year when we went 8-9 was the stupid season for me, should've tanked then...no point being a mid team in this league it gets you nothing but more mid draft picks.

I've said 100 times all he needed was GM roles taking off him or at least being challenged because he has drafted poorly for the last few years. Then again I don't think Mac Jones was even a bad draft pick at the time, just didn't hit the level we all hoped.
BB/HC and BB/GM are like chair and butt you know what that means can't have one without the other.

I'm starting to realize why some people couldn't stand some portions of our fanbase. Way too many people used Bill's success to validate some misguided superiority complex that they had and used the team to make them feel special. Now that their blanket aged out and had a string of flops they are freaking out that it was time to move on.

With the def set up and the high draft picks plus cap space ( thanks Bill) …. Anything other than making the playoffs is a complete sham

Here is a tidbit that Pats fans may find interesting.

If the envious and treacherous voices had gotten their way in Spygate, and the Pats had forfeited the 49ers’ pick rather than their own, then Jerod Mayo would have never been drafted by the Pats.

Good for Mayo. Interesting to hire HC before GM. I wonder if the new GM is already in contract negotiations and agreed to Mayo before BB announced his departure. They really need GM-HC seeing eye to eye on coaching staff and big personnel moves.

BB would be perfect for Eagles.
Not if they go 4-13. The Boo-Birds boo and throw ice balls at Santa Claus.

Preach Brother preach you know my impartial stance BB is not without his faults.

You're joking, but unless he's cut or traded, I would expect Mayo to say exactly that. If for no other reason than, if Mac is beat out (which he should be), it helps facilitate a trade. Not a lot of benefit to publicly ruling any player out of a job.
Logically you're right...but I just can't

Now that BB is gone, I would not exclude the possibility they keep Mac for one more year as a reclamation project to build his trade value and to serve as a bridge/backup for new QB they bring in. Would rather this than bring back Zappe. Zappe needs to be gone
Why should Zappe be gone when he outplayed Jones?

This is a cope bro. Sorry. But Bill missed the playoffs the last two years, his team just finished 3rd to last in the NFL, and you think that he was magically going to reverse that and become a playoff team when he had the worst team in his conference so you can hold that against the new guy? LOL

Great choice, meritocracy has many merits. He was always the heir apparent, good to see Kraft kept his promise.
He will have to surround himself with a great OC (McDaniels?) and a new DC, as well as look at Achord and his ST's.
I hope the FO brain trust can deliver as they should..
A new chapter begins..
The learning curve is not as great as it might be as he knows the players and their capabilities..
Agreed. Mayo earned it and it’s a good look on the organization to promote a guy based on merit and who the players really like and respect.

I think Vrabel is a good coach but his philosophy doesn’t feel like it drifts far enough way from Belichick. And I think to hire Vrabel it is pretty much nullifying your deal with Mayo when he wasn’t responsible for the disastrous season and that is not a good look. His unit played well and fought hard while missing key players. He deserves the job.

4 wins bro. If he hits 5, he was better.
This is an undeniable fact.

Edit: It's certainly not good enough, but if he hits 5, it's better than 4.

You have some very anti-BB colored glasses on. Let's take this piece by piece. Have a seat. School is in session.

He objectively failed on offense for 5 years
Really just three seasons. 2020, 2022 and 2023. We were 7th in points scored on offense in 2019.

When he had the opportunity he went against his scouts and picked Harry
Yeah that was a mistake but what about all the times he does this and was right?
he let WR runs happen right in front of him and didn't make a move and then shrugged his shoulders and moved down
Runs happen in drafts at positions all the time. It's a folly to go and chase a position just because other teams did. Look at all the WRs picked before Samuels and Metcalf that haven't panned out.
he picked Sanu over Sanders
False. Sanders didn't want to come here.
he let guys like Harris and Meyers walk
Oh yeah we're really missing Damien Harris' 94 yards he put up in Buffalo.
He got Wynn who busted
Wynn didn't bust. He just turned out to be a head case that didn't live up to being a late first rounder.
he got Strange who is on the verge of being a bust
He was grading as a top 10 IOL in the weeks before his season ending injury. He also started the season and played through an injury that required surgery that he passed on.
He let top tier OL go when they were still productive and couldn't replace them
I agree Thuney was mishandled. Possibly Karras as well. Mason didn't deserve the money he got and was mailing it in his last two seasons here. He didn't last long in Tampa but seems motivated again in Houston.
He went into the last draft knowing offense was a clear weakness and didn't go offense until round 4 and didn't go WR until round 6.
Because the problem on offense is at QB and there weren't any worth taking.

4 wins bro. If he hits 5, he was better.
So Mayo > BB if Mayo wins one more game after getting a weaker strength of schedule, $80m of cap space, and high draft picks? There's going to need to be a lot more to it than that.

Not if they go 4-13. The Boo-Birds boo and throw ice balls at Santa Claus.
Eagles won't go 4-13 in next 2 years. Other than Ravens, they have the most talented and stocked roster in league

Why should Zappe be gone when he outplayed Jones?
Well they both suck and I would highly debate one outplayed the other logistically. Zappe got lucky on a few of his balls not getting intercepted in his first few games, but we all saw the problems and saw him crash and burn at the end.

Zappe statistically certainly didn't. He had a lower completion percentage, lower passer rating, less yards per game, threw only 3 less INT's despite starting far less, for all the claims of him being better in the pocket he took more sacks and lost more yards on sacks.

The real issue here is that Zappe's biggest supporters basically made the argument against him being a back up. Whenever he came in as back up after Mac and played bad they argued that he didn't get first team reps and it wasn't fair to judge him because he couldn't suceed. Yet that is precisely what a back up is meant to do. So they in turn made the case that he should not be trusted as a back up.

Bill had support. He had people telling him to draft Deebo or Brown. He choose Harry because his buddy convinced him.
Don't remind us please! Brady would still be here we could have been in Two more SB's. I watched the tapes no way you could tell me that Harry who doesn't separate projected better than Deebo or A.J. Brown but BB knows it all. That alone should get a guy fired!
