It

2019 Super Bowl.
12-4 the next season.

Then they began the rebuild.

Teams go through rebuilds.

It's a spoiled Patriots fanbase that expects it to last forever, but hey, if Kraft royally screws this up, I guarantee you they go through the wilderness of not winning for many many many years
That’s the biggest problem though, we haven’t really been rebuilding. We’ve just been putting bandaids on top of wounds.

What has the plan been? It’s just been “fly by the seat of your pants”.

I’m under no illusion that we’re gonna be contenders next season like some are here. We can definitely improve; we already have the defense in place. A rebuild, down correctly with a long term plan in mind, is going to take 2-3 years.

It’ll be an interesting off season, let’s see what happens…

Not sure where you plucked that from but the answer is pretty obvious and nothing to do with what i posted.
Of course you didn't. Keep winning championships in your little world. It gets harder the NFL. Go root for your team, the trolling here is pretty bad, never mind your petty takes.

But facts are facts…this team has been on a steady decline since 2018.
Yep. That’s a fact.

Someone mentioned that if Bill were the owner he would have fired the coach with the same record one or two seasons ago that he has had.

Oh, 2018. Second-rounder Duke Dawson says Hi. He was #56.

I'm going to help you....kind of.

Pats were 4-2 when they had more than 200 yards passing. 0-11 when they didn't.

Pats were 4-5 when they turned the ball over once. 0-8 when they turned it over more than once

Pats were 3-1 when they scored over 20 points, 1-12 when they didn't.

Yes- the NEP QBs were bad. Here is where your argument is flawed.

The Steelers' QBs threw for less TDs and only 100 more yards and they finished 10-7. Why? Pickens, Warren, Harris, Johnson and a very good o-line. Their kicker made 93.5% of his FGs. Ours 62.5%. Their D was also better and forced 11 more turnovers.

Having better QB play improves the chances of winning. The problem is with this roster that is far from a certainty. The offensive talent on the line and at the skill positions is awful and cannot sustain consistent production. We've seen it all year and for you to say it isn't even an argument is laughable.
By no means did I ever say qb was the one and only problem. But in spite of all other weaknesses and with all other strengths in those 7 games we win if the qb doesn’t flat out stink.

Pittsburgh turned the ball over 16 times. We turned it over 29.

Pittsburgh had 7 games with zero turnovers
We had 1 game with zero turnovers

You pretty much just nailed the difference between the 2 teams and virtually everyone of the 7 I mentioned were lost due to turnovers by the QB.

Pittsburgh QBs have thrown 9 ints all year, and 5 were by trubisky, and they went 0-2 in his starts. Patriot QBs have thrown 21. The difference between Pitt at 10-7 and the Patriots at 4-13 is they had someone better than trubisky and we didn’t.

If they had to play trubisky all year their astute fans would be saying the same thing about their 4 win season as I am saying about ours now.

What do you think a rebuild is? It’s like you think teams just will themselves to gradually improve each year and it’s easy and happens all the time.

Where did I say a rebuild is easy and happens all the time? I’ll wait…

A rebuild takes time and needs a plan…we haven’t had that in years. Just look at our offense; look at our personnel decisions in recent years…it’s obvious.

By that time, your second contract guys will be already out the door. They're in their prime now.

There is a plan. The qb has held back the team. There will be 100,000,000 of cap space to work with.

You got your panties in a knot because i said Bill doesn't get to choose when his time is up, that decision will be made when it's the best thing for the team, not Bill.

Yet you tell me to "Go Root for your team". I am, you on the other hand are rooting for Bill, hence why you are so butthurt.

It is the opportunity to turn over 50% of the starters and whatever % of reserves you want to.
50% of the starters.
1. QB yes
2. LT yes
3. LG
4. OC
5. RG
6. RT yes or resign Onwenu
7. WR1 yes
8. WR2 or re-sign Bourne
9. TE yes or re-sign Henry
10. TE yes
11. RB

I always forget the children in times like these. I ask My Lord in his Holy Name, forgive these young children that haven't seen a playoff game in two years, nor a SB win in five. Please see fit that the Devil himself be crucified upon yonder stake until I declare him him dead. At this point, once the devil is dead, who's head do you go after next?

There wasn’t a plan. Look at the scrubs on the OL they had to scramble for at the start of the season. Look at the musical chairs they’ve been playing at OC for the last few years.

The plan has been Bill trying to pull a rabbit out of a hat on offense.

If you think that’s a plan then I don’t know what else to say

Are you stupid? There is no other thing than to root for the team no matter who runs it. Can you run it better? Yes? Than do it. No? Than shut the **** up. You're a ****ing troll. There are tons of you bad mouthing this team when all of your heart and desires should be on rooting for success. Yet it's **** BB **** Kraft, **** Foxboro. Go **** yourself and all your friends too.

All the more reason we need someone making decisions with a plan in mind. We’ve been missing that for quite a while now.

OK, as long as we start the entire process over -- with no promise of getting anywhere after another 3 years.
