I hate to say it, but Rodney will probably never get in. His rep of a dirty player weighs heavily against him fair or not. That is a big reason why he rarely got into the Pro Bowl or All Pro honors. He didn't get into the Pro Bowl in either 03 or 04 (although did get first team All Pro in 03 and second team in 04 and Ed Reed was DPOY in 04 so it explains the Pro Bowl snub).

I think he should get in, but the HOF can be a bit of a popularity contest at times.

This year is good reminder that a good QB can help other players look better than they are and a dysfunctional QB dooms the entire team to failure.
