The thing is Zappe probably sucks, but what will be very interesting is to see how much 10 has been holding back this team by how much it improves with just a crappy QB instead of an incompetent one.

I don't care that Zappe sucks. I want to see if he performs similar to last year when Mac was completely out of the picture injured. To start and get full practice reps etc. At this point maybe Mac will do better without practice because it doesn't seem to help lol.

Agree. Zappe's not the future and I no longer believe Mac is. Why not just see if Malik can give them something to think about with that high pick come sapring.

I think Mac gives us a better chance to lose because he not only sucks be he is mentally fried. He has lost all his confidence. Zappe sucks but I think he has a better chance of winning us a game or 2... And for that reason I hate this.

I like Zappe. He can become an adequate backup to Michael Penix next year. Trade Corky Mac for a fifth-rounder or sumthing.
