Boutte has hardly any catches and can't find the field how is that good?

Parker was castoff from the dolphins to a division rival. What does that tell you?

And juju is years removed from the 1000 yard guy next to Antonio brown with apparently bum knees which is why KC wasn't keen to match his deal.

Not sure how that's an inspiring group of receivers to you. Compared to what other teams have

Douglas looks good but everyone else is at best mediocre. Stink stank stunk
How are weapons supposed to produce with the worst starting QB in the NFL?

Seriously, do people on this site understand gravity or the direction passes travel? Receivers don’t pass to themselves, they don’t play in a vacuum.

I rewatched, again, part of the Colts game and it’s scary.
Play after play the intended receiver is open and he won’t throw. What he does is get happy feet when anyone is in his zip code and abandons the play and throws to the short receiver in the middle of the field. Almost no pass play gots to the intended target, and the target is open.
I’m convinced it’s panic because if he did that in practice it would be corrected or he would have been benched a long time ago. It seems his coaching point is to stop him from panicking and carry out the play the way it is designed. It feels as if hope is lost on that.
He doesn't trust his Moon ball arm A.J. NFL CB's even our Myles Bryant will jump those everytime. I know what I see I am amazed at what our Coaches are looking at. Mac Jones doesn't have a NFL arm or moxy.

Apparently if Mike Gesicki was “a better weapon” Mac would have connected on that game ending pass against the Colts where Mike was wide open in the end zone and Mac had all day to throw.

I swear to god, some real deep thinkers here… they literally think the cart pulls the horse.

Parker went from approx 63/830 per full season in Miami to 39/530 per full season with 10.
Juju gets open. 10 can’t find him. He can’t throw to himself.

The receivers than play with 10 do worse when they get here then better when they leave. But it’s the receivers fault.

I don’t have a problem with many of the touch passes, largely they are right for the situation but other times they are not. It’s a problem but much less of a problem than inability to execute the play and read on time.

You attributing a 1-10 team winning five straight games and doubling their scoring average after a QB change to “schedule” is dumber than a bag of bildos.
You attributed a team going to the Super Bowl to one player. So you must be dumber than a bag of flashlights

Juju was Mahomes leading wide receiver in both the regular and postseason on a Super Bowl winning team last season… but he can’t play now… he forgot how.

The height of stupidity….

No, I said JimmyG represented a massive upgrade to Hoyer/Beathard because he was. The funniest part is Jimmy is merely good and turned that team around in five games.

They doubled their scoring and yardage per game, a 1-10 team won five straight to end the season… and you say “schedule” while ignoring all the dogs they lost to earlier in the season.

The adults are talking, go play with your legos.

I like how the adults can’t keep their arguments straight. Must be cognitive decline.

You don’t understand football and just talk through your feelings. Sorry data doesn’t support you.

Sounds like he’s starting.

Mac is bad. But trying to talk into parker/juju being some elite duo is laughable.

No one outside this board believes it.

Keep on tanking with Corky Mac.
If Bill benches Mac, he has a better chance of stealing a couple wins with the dreaded QB change where the player has the "I got nothing to lose" attitude. Those guys are dangerous if you're trying to tank.

See Damon Huard in both matchups in 1999.
Ray Lucas on MNF.
Jay Feely in 2004 and 2007
Dan Orlovsky in 2011.
Brock Osweiler 2015

The list goes on. They start chucking up passes a starter normally wouldn't do.

No it wasn't forgetting how, it was his knee. He injured his knee in the AFC Championship game, it was fine for the SB but got worse in the offseason and had to get it treated. The brilliance of our GM/HC led him to sign a guy who apparently can't run anymore to a 3/33M deal. Nice going. In the meantime Meyers who was Mac's binky has 512 yards receiving for the Raiders and getting plenty of looks even with Adams on the team. Bourne is still the leading receiver on our team with 406 and he hasn't played since the Miami game. Don't gimme that stuff that Juju is some elite weapon who just needs a QB to be great. He's not anymore. Not even close.

Yet another wretched decision made by the GM/HC. Thankfully there won't be many more of those. Time's up Bill.

Sounds like he’s starting.

Sounds like Grier is not really in the conversation, it's just Mac and Zappe. Maybe they'll platoon out the rest of the way and build their own trade values up.

On the other hand I wonder what BB thinks about him saying "That's the plan".

Wozzy, others. Talking about how juju the #1 receiver on a Superbowl team! And how great parker was with the dolphins.
Well juju was the #1 wr on a sb champ last year. That’s a fact whether it fits a narrative or not.
I don’t se r anyone saying Parker was great with the dolphins but he was capable. His production was something like 63/830 per 17 games in Miami which isn’t “great” but doesn’t suck and here it’s more like 39/530 here.
Seems like that could be a qb problem which is even more concerning when thinking about the QBs he had in Miami.

I mean it’s pretty obvious 10 is an offense killer.

Agree.

Agree.

Brady led the league in Sack% (best) in 2022 despite his OL while leading the league in pass attempts & completions. That's the difference.
It was tough though. They couldn't run the ball anyway and that didn't help either. I don't think the GOAT enjoyed getting hit and not being able to make big plays like he always seemed to be able to.
Which is the entire point. If a QB can't handle pressure in the NFL, he'll never be effective and TO prone. The simple point is that a better QB could overcome the pressure and be more effective. We see it all the time.

Bill is 85% responsible for the condition the team is in.
Second on the list is Corky @ 10%.
Sounds about right. I don't know why Mac's mechanics go to crap when he feels pressure - real or imagined. I never saw anything like that in year 1. I really think Bill's brilliant Patricia/Judge experiment last year ruined him. But "thEYrE GoOd CoAcHeS"... right.

Not all Mac's fault but we're not a QB rehab center we're an NFL football team trying to win games. I don't think we need to wait anymore. There is an opportunity to upgrade. If the Pats decide move on to the next guy and leave Mac behind so be it.

Kelce was the #1 receiver. Not juju.

Can we stop playing this game. Kelce may be a tight end but he was and still is the #1 target of mahomes.

Why pretend it was juju
