Borgie I'm eating.

Mac Jones before he filed the MJ10 trademark: 94.7 rating
After: 83.8 rating

The curse of calling yourself MJ when there's only one MJ in sports who is not you.... ball don't lie.

I think Mac should remain as the starter

He has no trade value, and is unlikely to remain next year. We know our backups suck, so I don’t see that there’s anything to lose by keeping him in. Best case scenario he does a 180 and plays his ass off, or he continues to suck and we get a good draft pick

Unless the plan is to tank and we think one of the other guys sucks more.

If Sam Darnold could fetch three picks after his "seeing ghosts," including a second-rounder, I don't see why Mac has no trade value.

Darnold doesn't have a noodle arm.

Seriously did you see that Pass to Gesicki?? Any ounce of Trade value that Mac had we lost on that one play alone. I mean BB went to useless Zappe *according to some* right after what does that tell you about Mac?? Take the Homer Blinders off. A 7th Round conditional is still considered Trade value so there.

I’d rather have Darnold than 10 every day of the week. And Darnold sucks.

A project like Trey Lance got a 4th. This isn't 2021 anymore so his "potential" is irrelevant, he's still the same raw project he was on day 1, he's done nothing in the league and chances are higher than not that he will never start. So that should be the floor for what the team should accept for Mac Jones in a trade. Both QB's are also on their rookie deals.

So BB once said he believes Mac Jones can play QB in this League. I wonder what's his feelings now.

He's probably feeling that he has 7 games left till retirement.

A raw product is more valuable than someone who has proven they are not competant.

AJ to say you are ready to move on is an understatement.

Is there really a difference between a raw product who hasn't progressed from that stage in 3 years and someone who isn't competent at the position?

Trey LanceGeno Smith late bloomer.

Mac has proven that he sucks. He’s not just a product of a terrible team but a key component into it being terrible

I don’t think he can do much to hurt his trade value. Nobody is giving up 3 picks for the guy, even if they were all 7th rounders. At this point all he can do is improve the return we’d get for him

Geno Smith was always more polished than Lance. Lance is a project and hasn't improved from that in 3 years even a little. No reason to think he's a late bloomer.

he's mentally broken at this point

Disagree dudes only 23 I'm not giving up Great move by the Cowboys 8 games don't make or define a young player like Lance. That said with a player like Mac we already know...we should have made a pitch for Lance.
