Rumor that BB is leaving at the end of the season

Having arguably the worst QB room in the NFL the last 2 years is 90% of the problem. Replace that crap with average QB play and things are very different today.

Part of the problem, but there’s a lot of blame to go around. Basically, the entire roster leaves a lot to be desired. It’s filled with mediocrity.

The defense is fine. The offense can’t be judged correctly without a QB. Today, an average QB would have put 30 points on the board the way we ran the ball. Instead because of the Qb the offense is on the sideline watching the defense keep them in the game.

I think this would make a great retirement gift from Robert to Bill.

The defense has forced 11 TOs all year. Losing their 2 most talented players to injury was a killed but the D is far from "fine".

not with an OL that can’t pass block.

Oh look Mac just got sacked again!

Good post.

I appreciate what Bill has done here and I still consider myself a card-carrying member of the BB fan club but I just think it's time for a different way of doing things as this one is no longer working.
Every coach/manager is sports no matter how good they are, have a shelf life. This one lasted over 20 years, that doesn't happen too often in this day and age.

I don't think they're far off from being fine though. A new QB with a couple other pieces and the offense would look a lot different next year. Don't forget in addition to drafting higher on the board there's a lot of cap room next year. The right moves have to be made though.

It’s not that far away from being fine either. It’s got some really strong pieces in place with some young talent.

Just having 3 of your front 7 being Judon, White and Barmore is by no means chopped liver. Gonzales had a lot of praise before going out as an up and coming elite cb. Peppers has had a very solid season. Lot of building blocks already in place to build upon. Bad offenses that turn the ball over and can’t maintain drives kills their own defense.

Now you're blaming Mac.

The roster sucks. Fixing the QB situation is a big part. 90% is a stretch
The defense is fine. The ol once healthy has been fine. The RBs are fine. The receivers can’t be judged because the qb can’t get them the ball when they are open.

Even with its best 2 players out it would be well abuse average with an offense that held its own.

Before today Patriots had allowed the 7th fewest sacks in the NFL. Many of todays were the QBs fault.

Agree to disagree.

Huh? I’ve been calling him the biggest problem for most of the season
Your Greatest ever will probably Start him again in two weeks what does that tell you??
