Some folks for whatever reason don't want Mac to be accountable at all. Don't really understand the thought process myself.

I think there's like a 70% chance they fire him if they completely miss the playoffs. Their window is slowly closing and they need to capitalize NOW on being contenders, missing the playoffs entirely instead is a huge blunder.

The Pats owe them for ending our season the last two years. Might be too much to ask but how about a win in Buffalo in week 17 to cripple their playoff hopes… spoiler isn’t a bad consolation prize in a lost season…

It's a really dumb question to pose to someone who's not privy to the private conversations of executives. How could I know what there was and wasn't available for options?

What's not dumb is to hold Bill accountable for the offense he continues to field year after year.

I still don't trust Miami taking the East regardless of what record they have now - They have often folded like an accordion more often than not when the winter arrives - Buffalo will regain its composure win or lose tonight and take the east again.

People seem not to have noticed that we've spent a ton of money on receivers over the last few years: Algholor, Jonnu, Hunter Henry, Bourne, Smith-Schuster, Gesicki.

Sure, there are other guys we could've gotten, like Hopkins, but how would they do with Mac as their QB? Not well I'm guessing.

Look at Jonnu. He's going to triple his Patriots production in half a season.

Sad thing is Jonnu got a quarter of his '23 yards in 1 Zappe game last year.

They got the WR1 from the SB champs. I disliked the move, but they literally addressed their WR issue.

Bourne isn't very good. Parker is dog ****. They lost Meyer who also wasn't really that good. They let aggy go who also was dog water.

As i previously mentioned, Mac could have been a top half of the league QB.

I’m watching Burrows pitch against Buffalo … I don’t believe Mac could win with that offense around him. I don’t believe he can make all the throws …

Whats his record without Brady? - you might be shocked at how mediocre it is ..... thus Overrated is in play - his overall record against teams with a winning record without the G.O.A.T. is not even close to .500 - He has not proven he can take ANY team deep into the playoffs if at all unless he hits the jackpot on a QB who carries the team along with some Defense of course

Belichick believers really should check his lifetime HC stats sans Brady - its not pretty - He is/was and will forever be a above average defensive coach who hit the jackpot in 2000 and that put him up on Lombardi level as the wins mounted - stats don't lie

Tom was and is the greatest, but Bill had something to do with those super bowls, if you can't give him some respect for that I don't know what to say.

It was a perfect partnership of QB and coach. Defensive mind meets offensive savant and they made magic.

But Brady didn’t need Bill nearly as much as Bill needs Brady and proved it. Maybe it would be the other way around 25 years ago but today offense matters a lot more than having a defensive minded coach.
