I can’t find a good reason to turn on the game next week. The only thing to look forward to is development of a couple of young players. I hope Douglas and White can find a way to progress amidst this disaster of a season. What else is there to hope for?

I don't know what game you were watching if you think Mac is a good QB.

Mac isn't playing well. But receivers are straight up missing game changing plays. Reagor, Parker and Juju come up with 3 good catches from balls that hit them in clutch moments, you get a different outcome. Not just a different outcome, the game goes from a near loss to pretty comfortable win.

So the take you are critcizing is pretty correct. We don't have play makers even when you factor Mac's own issues into the scheme. Was at the game today. Mac had a handful of overthrows. There were plenty of good throws he missed that amounted to nothing because the receivers are garbage. That's how you don't get consistency.

Mac is not a franchise QB right now and we likely need to move on. But it's a lazy and just unintellectual take to say he's the primary problem and this is a good team sans him. The receivers suck and can't make plays when they are there to be made. You can keep Mac's play exactly the same today, and this was a winnable game if the receivers made the catches they should have. That's what the quote you cried about was referring to. If you can't acknowledge that, then you just aren't capable of having an honest take about what's going on. This is a worse offense than the one in 2019 that Brady looked like **** in and ran away from (which most of you decided to blame him for). It's not surprising that a young QB who is trying to prove himself is looking like **** in it and becoming worse in it. That's what would typically happen.

Agreed.. but also why would he want to stay here? He like Patricia has better options.. I of course never thought he was the saving grace.. but I honestly didn't think it would look this horrible.
