Watching so called fans ***** about this is worth keeping the grumpy bastard around. I legit hope that they go on a run just to watch you all lose your mind instead of being happy with success.

I'd be very happy with success but I don't know if you looked at the standings recently but even after today's upset win, they're still just 2-5. I don't call 2-5 a "success".

You didn’t read my post.

The best part of this news was the local boston insufferable media stumbling over this news which wasnt given to them and makign reasoning of it. it was/is gold.

I’m afraid the avg Pats fan became too accustomed to super bowls. Truthfully I was ecstatic today. That was fun. I want to relive those pre-great team runs. Chasing other teams and ruining their weekends!! Im going to be so happy when balance is restored someday and Bills/Dolphin fans are going to realize they won 6-7 division titles and have nothing to show for it .. hahaha

Any other coach is fired after these last four years.

You’re completely wrong about that.

As an example, Belichick has a better winning percentage than Ron Rivera during the exact same time period and he’s still coaching Washington.

Sean Payton had three straight years in the mid-2010s with a 7-9 record.

Marvin Lewis had worse 4-year stretches with the Bengals and he went on to coach another 10 years.

Established coaches get lot of leeway. A 6x-Super Bowl winning coach is going to get a lot more.

So yeah, you’re simply wrong lol.

I do not understand why the coaches salaries and contract terms are not made public just like the players.
The secrecy around this is ridiculous. The public should know how many years he is signed for and how much.

Why? Lots of contracts and agreements are private. That is very common.

The players are part of a union and their salaries are part of the collectively bargained salary cap (% of the earnings), so their salaries have to be known to be part of the agreed upon calculations.

Yeah. Talk to me if they go down and beat the Dolphins.

u r dumm as schitt, Joel Gibbs's a Nashcar owner. RIP plus thotts and praighers.
It is worth noting that all of the comments comparing Joe Gibbs with BB ignore the fact that he first quit the NFL in 1992 and rejoined in 2004. That is a long time that contributed more to the perception that he lost track of the game than his age.

BB is the GOAT of coaches. I have no problem with him remaining our coach. I'm just concerned about the personnel decisions i.e. we need an actual GM or a scouting/personnel department who are taken seriously.

Our personnel is fine. We need one more tackle, a top WR and probably a new QB. Otherwise, this team is set to compete.

Maybe you should rephrase it considering multiple people read it and interpreted it the same way.
No, maybe you folks should read. Here it is again:

Would be nice to know the details.

I doubt the contract is to keep Bill in his dual HC/GM role indefinitely and it shouldn't be anyway. I believe BB is done here as GM.

If it's just to keep Bill in the organization then Kraft will have plenty of options if they want to make any changes. Bill can always go upstairs.
