No, your emotional need to replace the guy who made you sad is not an answer he because neither of those guys can play.
Working to correct the guy who can play makes a lot more sense than putting a scrub who can’t play out there because you feel the need to punish someone.
A day later, another loss, another Mac abomination… but this time against one of the worst defenses in the NFL and your take sounds sillier than ever.

Why bill was allowed to make this move is beyond me
This is what worries me. Him trading away picks at the deadline for rental players or JAGs and costing the new coach. He has already saddled next next guy with one of the worst rosters in the league and a few really bad contracts. Let's not make it any worse by giving away picks.

Apparently a lot is beyond you.
What exactly are you complaining about, and exactly who do you think must “allow” the person in charge to carry out his responsibilities?

Let me help you out.

He gave a 3 year contract to a player who he already cut and has no worthwhile abilities because he's in panicked mode instead of accepting the reality of his situation.

He built a **** ****ing team that has no realistic chance at anything other than the first overall pick and he's allowed to compound his error by giving away money and a roster slot to someone who doesn't belong in the league.

It's not hard to get. Take away the keys my guy.

But hey, he's starting over!

Someone has probably already said this but WTF was Malik doing on that field on Sunday? Nothing against the kid but his one QB snap was a disaster which cost us multiple yards. BoB and BB must be losing the plot if that one play was their masterplan to try and be different. Should have had Grier on the bench.

Probably not ready yet.

Perhaps an understanding of how contracts work would aid in your understanding of why this was done. He was given a small bonus, spread over three years with a small salary. If he is cut at anytime during those three years the Patriots will have the dead money of the signing bonus. His contract will dissapear. If he happens to do well, the Patriots have him signed to a very small contract for three years. obviously they liked him enough to keep him.

I know that the contract isn't going to hamper the team ability to move on from him.

Thinking Cunningham is the answer is the problem.

He already was cut. The new contract restored the remainder of his original contract.

Oh but it’s you that needs to be helped out.
A 3year contract vs a 1 year contract is in the TEAMS favor. It is not guaranteed so the team can get out if he doesn’t play well enough and if he play well he is under contract.

He decided to add a wildcat aspect to the offense. Are you saying that’s a bad thing?

How would that be panic? So you understand what panic is?

But, you, on the other hand can really act like you are mad when the team you choose to follow doesn’t win. Wow, I am really impressed.

Perhaps you don’t understand the question.

did you expect him to block?

It's not actually in anyone's favor for an UDFA. An UDFA with two or fewer seasons is an ERFA (exclusive rights FA); all the team has to do is extend a tender for the minimum salary and the player's only options are essentially sign or retire. All this does is remove a couple of extra steps next spring if they want to keep him and add an extra one if they don't.

No amount of word vomit will help you in this debate. Terrible signing. Terrible gm. Just another mistake after a long list of mistakes.
Perhaps you don’t understand the question.

Perhaps you still think Bill knows what he's doing.

6 SB championships.

It’s in the teams favor because they lock him up if they want to and can cut him any time
If the players turns out bad it’s irrelevant.
If the player turns out good they have him for 2 more years locked up for cheap $.
