This game pissed me off and not just because I lost a couple grand. I swear thiis team just doesn't one thing that gives me hope on offense. All the stuff that we were complaining about reared it's ugly head. No way making excuses for Mac but the Oline and WRs were right there f*cking things up.

We need to get GM duties away from Bill before he drafts more defensive players next year. Time to tank for Caleb and hell hire Lincoln Riley if Bill doesn't go with the plan. Atleast it will be fun watching the offense again.

I liked what we did with the draft this year but there is little doubt that the O needs to be invested in substatially, both in high level draft capital and with free agency dollars. I do have some concerns with Bill's ability to identify players on offence in terms of how and where all that free agency money is directed towards.
2023 was always about establishing what we have in Mac and with the awful injuries on D yesterday, combined with Mac's poor play, I am not averse to a really down year in order to maximize opportunities to draft our QB of the future. I don't believe Mac is our future. That said, we've not exactly given him the weapons that the modern NFL rules now require to be competitive.
As I see it, our rebuild started the day we drafted Mac but I'm not sure we are any closer to being competitive than we were that day in April of 2021. Goddell has made substantial changes to the league and it does feel like we are not adapting to these new realities very well.

The Jets have a worse room.
The Bears have a worse room.
The Cardinals have a worse room.
Etc.

These 3 teams are not the company we want to be in when we’re going down the QB list.

He really just isn’t that good tbh. At best hes devante parker with a **** attitude. The Steelers offense actually improved a bit last year after trading him away for no players but the draft pick in return, addition by subtraction.

And there were rumors we wanted him, so thank God we at least dodged that bullet
Maybe I just got enchanted with his play with Pittsburgh.. he was a great player with them. Right now it's a bit embarrassing to be a patriots fan. We are getting ****ted on nationally.

They've been drafting fine. I see a relatively deep and balanced roster.
No.

Could it be you’re confusing the 1978 roster with the current squad? Looking back recently I was dumbfounded how much more talent that roster had than this one.

Here, let me make it easy for you:

I have to wonder how this plays out in the locker room too. The team spent all week hearing about him touching Gardner’s junk (which IMO was a lie, but still) and then they go into the game and he blows it big time and pretty much loses it for them single handedly, while their two best defensive players suffer serious injuries. I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s an anti-Mac sentiment in the locker room right now too.
Mac didn’t lose it single handily. He played like ****, but that loss is an organizational loss.

The D was not good. The Cowboys 1st 2 drives went 70 yards for scores. We are always playing from behind. What we also saw was the organizational failure on O.

- WR get no separation
- o-line is garbage
- Running game goes no where, due to bad o-line and stacked boxes because no one is afraid of the passing game
- Mac gets happy feet as he’s getting rushed and no one is open. Forces the ball and makes dumb plays

Rinse and repeat. It’s a complete failure on Bills team development.

He gave them an easy 21-24 points. I’d say he single handedly lost the game.

The D is expected to do way too much. Down multiple starting CB's, then Gonzalez goes out, Judon goes out. I don't think it's fair to say they weren't good, they were as good as you could expect an entirely depleted secondary as you could expect.

Brutal loss.
TT comes off IR this week. Hoping for a breakout game from him and a W for the team

Mac was not pressured on those ints. He made stupid throws. He just cannot be put in a position to have to win a game, they have to win in spite of him, Which....that does not really work in the NFL. Sorry but its a cap era, you are not going to have this super team minus your Qb to help Mac not mess up. You need a dynamic Qb that can take over a game and cover up vulnerabilities on the team> Mac isnt that or near that. So here we are.

Yep. Feels crazy to say about a single guy, but both sides of the scoreboard were mostly his doing.

The hi-lite of the 2023 season so far has been Tom Brady ringing the lighthouse bell.

Think about that for a moment.
