Whaaa? Wellll! Maybeeeee. Al at 37? Eastern Conference Finals and the Bucs only need 4 games. Al is going to go hard for 7 games straight against Giannis? Ouchhh. I was hoping for a better answer. Seems like a huge weakness to me.

Yea there isn't one on the roster right now. Tatum? Porz? Queta? They still have a mid-level exception from the Grant Williams trade to pick up more beef for the frontcourt.

Jru is a baller. That helps.

They also ditched 2 two non-durable players.

True but RW hasn't reached his ceiling yet. And he is healthy now. In a year or two, C's fans could all be moaning " why did we trade Time Lord"? Brogden is also an excellent all- around player.
But as you pointed out both have had trouble being available.
And of course I love Jru's game. He is 33 but still damn good. This is a win now move. You gotta give up sumpin to git sumpin.

Biggest concern for me is the 5 spot.
After Porz there ain't much. Big Al is still solid but can only play Iimited minutes now and still be effective. Does Brad know something about Kornet that we dont?
I felt like we gave up a lot. But it was an aggressive move to win a title this year.
I can't find any fault with that

I am very happy they shook it up. We kind of got lucky when the Brogdan trade fell through and we needed to trade Smart. Smart will never win anything. Wrong guy. I hope Jrue is a winner. Tatum is OK but Brown needs a ball handler to feed him. Smart thought too much of himself.

Brown is still the same guy that trips over the three point. Nothing will change. I can’t wait until next year when he is traded. I would settle for an athletic big, to replace Timelord, and some draft capitol. I cant stand him any longer. All-nba my ass. I could name close to 20 players better than him. Problem is a lot of nba players all get boo-boos and miss 20-40 games per year. Ice up *****es.
Other than that I was all for a Jrue trade. We don’t have quality depth however, other than the starters.

Removing Smart from the Smart, Brodgon, & White guard positions weaken the guards but trading Brodgon from the White, Brodgon & Pritchard and adding Holiday IMO strengthen the Celtics guard positions.

Adding Porzingis to Horford & RW III strengthen the Celtics Center positions. Trading RW III weaken the Centers. But signing Wenyen Gabriel to the Horford & Porzongis Celtics Center positions made them stronger than they were with RW III, IMO.

Gabriel is not a better player than RWIII but hes good enough for 15 min a game.

Porzongis isn't that bad at shot blocking. Gabriel will be available, they couldn't depend on RW. Mazzulla does not like RW as a starter. I think Stevens got fed up with the health of RW III. I certainly did a couple of years ago.

I think you like Pritchard. I believe the Celtics will try for an extension with him and I feel he will get more playing time. He needs consistent playing time even if it is 15 minutes. I do not believe any player can do well being used for10 minutes every three weeks. Playing in a game situation is much different than practice.

I do like Pritch. He spreads the floor and plays hard. He knows his game and has value in the reg rotation.

I agree but Pritchard's defense remains a weakness. And the moment seems too big for him at times.

I am hoping that Hauser is improved this year and can be 7th or 8th man in the rotation ahead of Pritchard.

Paul Pierce was at Celtics practice yesterday,sitting with the owners.
When it was over, he turns to them and says he's never seen an NBA practice that went " that hard,that fast, for that long'.
Brad Stevens said it was " electric" and Jrue was the major reason for it.
Folks, if the key guys can stay healthy we are in for a treat this season. One thing I know for sure- the ?effort level will be nonstop. Holiday is a competitor and that's contagious.
