Smith is a big talker, but he also is our biggest hitter in the secondary and probably the best cover safety we have. Troy is quicker and can play more positions, but smith is the big playmaker now. He's young, and makes a mistake here and there, but overall that spleen condition that put clark out ended up being a blessing in disguise because it forced the staff to use smith even though they hate using younger players in the free safety position here

It's just a tactic to try and get a psychological edge. Anthony Smith read the press clippings about Moss commenting on the Ravens trash talking after the game. You even mention any of that kind of stuff publically and guys will keep trash talking because it means it affected you. I don't expect it to let up at all this season as a result.

Moss has been in this league for 10 years. Do you think he hasn't heard trash talking before? In 10 years nobody but the Ravens has talked trash to him.
