Report: Ohtani interested in the Red Sox

He ain't coming here. This is a Werner -driven media plant to generate a buzz

Ohtani can be a starting pitcher for us, can't he?

Ohtani tore his UCL for a 2nd time. Needs a 2nd Tommy John surgery on his pitching elbow. Definitely will not pitch for anyone in 2024, and possibly never pitch again.

Upside is that his FA contract just got a lot more affordable.

Or his agent. I mean, who has the deepest pockets? LA, chicago, NY. He's gonna end up in NY.

Him and Soto would be nice!

That would be the logical place. Yanks have money to spend this offseason but they are in just as bad situation as the Sox....multiple holes in the lineup and pitching.

I know Ohtani has said that he likes hitting in Fenway. But maybe that's because the Sox pitching was so bad...

I would think his injury not only eliminates pitching, but also playing the field next season. strictly a DH.

Boston ain’t opening up their pockets anytime soon. Wishful thinking on his part.
