JETS SUCK 2023 EDITION (JOKER CERTIFIED): HARD KNOCKERS

I think it's the Jet suckage that causes their problems, not a curse.

And I think it all started when they tampered with Tuna **** during our SB year. That sucked.
Then they took away Curtis Martin and Tuna **** after the SB. That sucked.
Then they came up with Crygate after doing the same thing to the Pats earlier. That also sucked.
And the Revis tampering. That sucked too.
And now they make their dumbest move ever by overpaying for a has-been QB. That sucked (for them but not for us).

Nope, they just plain suck.

For all their self congratulatory pats on their backs for building their young nucleus, they really haven’t done anything exceptional as usual. The team has literally had lottery first round picks since 2012. They often have top 5 / top 10 picks. The only move they made that could be considered smart was trading Jamal Adams for for two first rounders. They drafted Gardner and G. Wilson, but again, these are high level blue chip no brainer picks. They’ve also had a huge amount of first round busts and free agent overpays as usual.

I shall rise again. Gawd he's awful.

Wha... who the eff says "please keep me in your thoughts and prayers"? And "I shall rise yet again"? And that pic...

The narcissist tendencies are just overwhelming with this guy

You'd HOPE it was at least somewhat tongue-in-cheek, but if so it wasn't obvious. If Rodgers plans to suddenly become a Brady-level workout warrior/health nut, I'll believe it when I see it. Because that's what it will take for him to muster anything close to what he was a year ago, two years later. The **** factor is strong with this guy.

@Tunescribe - re TITLE

Im sure you'll find a perfect tribute title in time.

Just a thought on the current version:
maybe OFFICIAL is redundant now - JOKER CERTIFIED replaces it & sort of upgrades it..

ps
maybe including a word or idiosyncrasy of Jokers lingo could be a nice tribute as well

OK, dropped the "official." I think for next year the thread will open with a special "In Remembrance" at the top that will remain a fixture in his honor.

Love it. I'd make sure his name is always incorporated into the annual thread moving forwards, it's where he did so much of his best work.

It'll be interesting so see if he sticks with nebulous teasers such as "I will rise again" or if he'll make a firm commitment to playing for da Jete in 2024.

The wisest thing to do would be to say he'll be back to da Jete in 2024, go through the rehab he has to go through anyway to regain whatever mobility he can regain, then go through all the necessary motions till da Jete's guaranteed bonus check lands in his bank account as required by his contract, then decide if he's willing to risk playing for such an incompetent organization again.

It could go either way. His IG shows his ego is still hugely inflated by all this attention. Lord knows if that fades by the time he has to make a decision. Even if he gives it a go, that doesn't mean he'll be any good.

Seems he'll definitely try to come back. Though there's no way to know for sure until he sees how his 40 year old body recovers.

My guess, he'll be back and playing well.

In the meantime Zach needs to keep improving. Beating Buffalo was a good step. Now on to Dallas.

I assume people on IR are still drug tested, correct? Fraudgers....alone in his thoughts for 8 months... the ahayuabusca is for sure going to be calling to him, along with God knows what else he does.

Right, but there's still that ego that makes him think he's great and can overcome da Jete's organizational incompetence.

So far it's Jete Incompetence 1, Ahole 0.

My money is on it becoming 2-0.

AR looks older than 40 and it's possible he was already cooked. I'd put the % on his return at 0. He'll possibly get the Jets or some other team to pay him but he's not playing again.

The only question I have now is who sucks more, AR or the Jets? From here it looks like a dead heat.
