Did you see the first Bourne TD? Did that look like a weak arm?
Everybody underthrows deep balls early in the season, because guys are finally running full speed.

Look for Borne to disappear over the next 2 months too.

Why are we cherry picking the good stuff and not the bad stuff? Who decides that was how it's done?

For what it's worth (maybe Jack ****) I thought the throw to Henry that he got bailed out on was a timing throw that got disrupted by a shove at the top of the route
Showed clearly on replay

That pick six was the difference.

Mac had receivers running open for majority of the game and he hit some on a good amount of them, but when the game was on the line he came up really short.

The defense gave him two chances, one of which was on their 40 yard line and he came up small. Took a bad sack and a mind blowing delay of game. Completely unaware of the situation. On the last chance, after getting a first down, Boutte beat his man and he threw it 10 yards out of bounce, then a bad ball to Bourne followed by another sack that he should have avoided at all cost, at least throw it away.

I think this team is good enough to beat bad and mediocre teams, but against good teams where QB play is going to be the difference I just don't think Mac is good enough.

Shame that we're going to waste another year of elite defense. If Brady was the QB, this team would be SB contenders.

Christian Gonzalez ...
2nd in tackles 7 with 5 solo and 1 sack and the ball rarely went to his sice of the field.

Pop Douglas 4 catches for 40 yards ...
Both rookies are 2 that can hold their head high and they will work harder just the same.

Bill sure is making his share of head scratching game decisions the last few years.

Arguably the GOAT coach but all of the greats have their best before date. Makes you wonder.

Probably feels like he lost the game for the team with his toe-tap failures, especially the last one. Dwelling on it. Shows he cares. I think he might blossom into something with time.
Just a reminder there were a whole lot of people who called for benching (or even trading/cutting) GRONK after the Cleveland loss his rookie year.

I bet we'll see at least Onwenu work back in next week, and more out of the run game.
I wonder if we'll see Parker back too?

I can't imagine we let Hill go for 200+ again!

Says you. IMO the old codger Kraft don't have the balls to fire Bill, unless things get far worse than today.

Then expect more of the same.

Happy to just not suck.

Not a good idea for anyone ... to go to a casino with Bill.

Something to work on. At least he was in position and made the catches. I was impressed with all the rookies.

I think it’s more like Bob is too old and doesn’t want to risk going with a brand new coaching staff.

Bill would never get fired. When it’s time he’ll retire or step down presented as his own decision.

Pretty much how i felt stuff would go this season. Defense phenomenal, they’ll give us a chance to win every time out. Offense is still our achilles heel and will be all year. We are still a good offseason away on that side and hopefully we can field a complete team next year. I have to give the OL credit though, they played worlds better than I expected, good job Klemm! Parker would have made a difference, but relying on him is a lost cause. Rham played like a jag today… is he sick? I never saw what caused him to miss fridays practice.

I really wanna punch romo in the ****ing face. Hes been low key anti pats from the start but now it’s becoming obvious and annoying as ****. Gonzalez made the play of a ****ing LIFETIME to get us the ball back and all romo can do is his stupid “ehhh mightve got away with one chuckle chuckle”. GO **** YOURSELF *****. After all the help the refs gave philly today! Gonzo had a game today. Defense really is something special. They were really responsible for 12 PA against one of the best offenses.

thoughts on mac… great game overall. Im concerned about our struggles in the clutch with him at qb. Yes, Boutte should have caught that. Yes, rham and damian ****ed him over by ruining 2 more comeback attempts. Yes our defense failed to make some key stops late in games in 2021. But you cant deny we just don’t get it done in the clutch with mac. That falls on the leader. Its still too early to conclude anything, for one he needs more talent around him to be a successful qb. After a great rookie season we haven’t done anything to significantly improve the offensive personnel. Our wr set even with parker is bottom 10 in the league. Bob is fine but hes not a magician. That all said, mac is running out of time to reverse this trend of failure in the clutch.

Bottom line, still gotta be proud of the fight and competitive game. This team is very solid, but they lack the offense or IT factor. It’s possible to win without a top flight offense sure, but you need to play a clean game. You cant afford to lose turnover battles. You cant afford to not be special on special teams. You can’t afford backbreaking penalties that negate at least 3 very good plays ( even if one was bs). You cant call awful sequences like the first 4 down sequence when we were down 8. Who knows, maybe they clean it up as the year goes but weve lost way too many of these type of games the past 4 seasons and you just don’t see the clean belichick coached teams we used to see that used to overcome shortcomings on offense.

Could not have said it better.
