Hurts is decent QB, calm, mature but far from special and with clear limitations so very much overrated.
He came to great situation with dominant D and OL, so playing with house money.

This D was always going to be nice to watch but the real test comes with the Bills.

I’d say as early as next week vs MIA. That offense is POtent when they protect Tua. Hill & Waddle..If they get Taylor; damn..

He double-clutched the pass. He didn't throw it when he should have, and I think if he did, it would have been on the numbers.

Poor guy had a tough 1st game.
But, on the other hand, he got open, caught balls... he seems like he was more involved than Pop.

You are right but I am happy Mac has confidence to make those throws. A little more zip on some of his outside balls would be nice.

Jets (0-0, play Bills tomorrow) vs Cowboys (probably 1-0)
Browns (1-0) vs Steelers (0-1)

A lot of room for the AFC wild card contender field to largely be 0-2 or 1-1.

Speak for yourself. Your personal disappointment suggests to me you set your expectations too high. The team is still a work in progress.


Yet people here are disappointed we're not going to contend for the division.


Not his best day, but also not the refs best day either.


Same can be said for Philly's, and every other NFL's team. No one catches them all.



Yet they never gave up, even after a bunch of chuckleheads in the game day thread tossed in the towel.

We lost by five points to the second best team in the league last season who added more talent in the offseason.

We'll get better.

My expectations are in check. My observations are real.

Moral victories aren't gonna save Bill's job this year. It's time y'all get on that train cause it left the station baby.

Mac simply does not have the killer instinct elite QBs have of leading game winning drives. He keeps coming up short.

Dug a deep hole that we simply could not dig out of. You neet elite play makers or clutch players to do that and we don't have thos IMO.

Bill should have kicked a damn field goal. There was still too much time in the game to go for broke there.
