Speculation: Opening week 2023 Practice Squad elevations and Inactives

Jack Jones he has a hamstring injury. Last thing they want to do is upset him further, so I have every confidence this is a legitimate injury.

Elevations will be Zappe (Corral not ready and wasn't at practice today for some non-injury reason) and Montgomery - need a 3rd RB, and with the number of screens on the menu (in view of the shaky OL) he's a good candidate.

Likely they will dress more OL than normal given injuries etc.

I'll stick with my PS call ups, and go with Mike's opinion that Zappe could/will be called up to the 53.

Alternatively, Lowe could be waived and then signed to the Practice Squad.

if Jake is ready to be trusted as a backup, we might even elevate both Montgomery and Harris.

Gotta wonder if the Pats look around to add a CB to the PS with Jones going to the IR. Their depth is taking a big hit with first Bolden and now Jones.
