There is a possibility of 2 players being placed on IR and a possibility of some trades this week to fill some holes. I’m guessing a TE and DT.

Question: Theoretically do the Patriots have to have a back up qb on the 53 or can they elevate for the first 3 games and then name a emergency qb as a 3rd that’s also on the practice squad?

If so that’s great roster management/manipulation for the 53.

and reading between lines on the anderson interview, he feels he's been doing what he can and is in shape, he gave credit to the strength & conditioning staff without saying "yeah, they've kept me in shape" haha

and owenu has been working, been back at practice already......they are OL, they'll be ready to go quickly

Weird that Taylor, Mongomery, or Harris has been announced yet. Maybe looking for other opportunities. I don’t think RB 3 needs to be on the 53 though off the bat.

They are going to have to pay someone. Can’t keep relying on drafted and undrafted players. It’s biting them in arse now and has in the past. That goes for multiple positions.
