All the cats that would of most likely been the initial cuts down to 75. No need to have them at practice and risking possible injury resulting in them getting limited to no looks from other teams and/or an injury settlement.

I don't think he sucks.. he just can't stay healthy.

I think he looks great at practice, and unlike others, he gets some separation. I like that in a 3rd down back. But if he’s never healthy… shrug.

This always blows me away. If you listened to media reports, only DeMario caught a ton of balls. And Parker and Henry had the highlight catches. Meanwhile Juju had more catches than anyone and it goes underreported. They did this constantly with Myers, too.

Last year he couldn’t get on the field. The year before he played 300 snaps and totalled 95 receiving yards, 44 rushing yards and made a grand total of 7 first downs, less than one every other game. Less than 1 every 40 snaps.

Last year he was injured. The year before he also made 12 special teams tackles.

They're asking him to replace Brandon Bolden as the backend roster guy who plays special teams and backs up RB, WR and plays ST's.

I agree, he's an injury risk, but he has roster versatility.

And he was having a solid camp prior to him having the ankle issue. Your right he gets separation is is a nice match up problem for defenses.

The fact remains that Montgomery isn’t any good.

I had no idea who the guy was when they drafted him. Watched some film. One play, where he was a dozen or more yards off the LoS stuck out to me. The QB tucked it to run and Mapu reacted so fast, he got the QB right around the LoS. Simply amazing reaction time and acceleration.

It's even more amazing when you realized the guy is 230 pounds. That's a world of hurt when he hits you.

And then there's Dugger.
