Mac Jones is solid. He will have a good throw but then a and throw here and there.
Which is why you NEED the offensive line to be perfect. Because hes not going to be consistent or have the talent to make super difficult throws. And the receivers aren't special enough for Mac to just throw it up to
The offensive line is going to make Mac look worse.
Steuber gets absolutely obliterated, gives up the strip sack, has a 2 second lead on the fumble recovery as the only guy who sees it (due to getting beaten so badly he had nothing left to do but stand there), but instead he just stood there staring at the loose ball that he caused. Just gross.
Yeah you honestly can blame Mac primarily for that….. what do you see in all of the notes regarding these joint practices between Green Bay and us?… Every quarterback we put in there is being sacked repeatedly… The offensive line is a major problem AGAIN this year… That having been said, could Mac have a little bit more pocket awareness… Sure
Love how Mac navigated the pocket on that long throw to Parker that must have been lost in the lights. Also love how Mac found his hot route when blitzed on the Douglas catch. Those are two things mac did rookie year that he didn’t last year.
Then it was followed up by Mac not having enough time to throw resulting in the a turnover. That reminds me too much of last year.
