Leaving open the other spots to show where players have to be obtained either through free agency or the draft or by current roster players on the outside looking in stepping up to fill an open spot.

I like it but am I asking too much for the Patriots to take a run at Dalton Schultz? He could compensate for not having a true WR1 (although both would be nice) and add some reliable versatility to the offense.

If Schultz is too expensive then maybe someone like Robert Tanyon (and drafting Kincaid).

Actually I don't doubt any of those...they are reasonable.

Myles Bryant will not make the team - I hope never takes another snap with the Patriots. Could be replaced by Bledsoe.
Folk will not make the team - He's been very good for the Patriots...maybe he still could be. But he's getting up there in age. Could be draft.
Wade might also not make it - If he doesn't step up...could be gone. Draft.
Ferentz or Hines will be replaced with one of draftees. - Not a fan of Ferentz. Not sure of his new contract. Can he be cut with minimal $? If he is cut I think they will just go with Hines. Russey could also play G if he had to.
McDermott or cajuste would be replaced by draftees. - McDermott played ok...not sure they will cut him. If Cajuste is hurt again...he may be a casualty. Draft

That's mostly the structure of mine.

I have small changes (Jennings over Perkins the most significant), and think this could be it for Lawrence Guy (Last year he slipped, and they save $3 cutting him), but a good early roster.

I think that there is a problem at LB. You list 8, including a STer (Mitchell) and a LB/S (Mapu). Hopefully, your list enough, without Jennings and Wilson. I agree with your choices, but these are tough cuts.

I would make a last cut of Davis, keeping Ekuale.
