I think this is Belichick’s next Stephon Gilmore, I wanted an explosive player on offense, but the Patriots can coach up defensive backs as good or better than anyone in the league, so if they get the best out of him they have a true shutdown corner, Really good pick at 17.

I like this comparison. Though he’s taller, and a little more explosive speed and jumping wise. But if he can come close to Gilmore’s career, he’ll have a helluva career. First turns 21 in June, so he’s far from a finished product. I truly feel he will be a shutdown corner.

Pats should trade up twice in the second and grab Darnell Washington and Adetomiwa Adebawore.

Draft an OT after that, Bergeron or Breeland, and amazing draft.

There's plenty of highlights in those clips.

Witherspoon went top 5 and his comp wasn't much better if we're being honest.

At times competition doesn't matter at all. You just have to isolate the prospect. That's why evaluation is so hard.

Solid pick. Another Oregon kid. Chung worked out well in his second stint with the Pats.
I think he will play as a corner instead of safety. But later in his career he might change his position since he is a big tall guy and a ball hawk.

On defense I think the team will be fine, on offense is what I’m mostly worried about. Let’s see if Bill can actually add some weapons.
