Did Kraft put BB on notice?

So you don't think he'll win a playoff game again, is that it? Because I'll take the over on Lamar Jackson playoff wins +0.5 until his retirement.
The playoff pool is larger now than it’s ever been, teams with losing records are making the playoffs by default because they won their division or because the conference is so weak.

Could he win anther playoff game… sure. For him to progress in the playoffs and win a conference championship or Super Bowl he’d have to face 3-4 bad defenses… do you know the odds of that happening in the playoffs?

Zero percent chance that happens, it’s never happened.

Reading the tea leaves with Kraft in the post-Brady era he does seem to be losing patience with Bill's lack of success. He seems to have had at least one soundbite the last couple years that one could easily read into as "Bill needs to step it up".

It matters because of domestic violence which will get him shipped out of town.

Barmore might be too dense to stay away from this situation.
No domestic violence has been alleged.

You’re just indulging your dark fantasies again.

Lamar is a free agent, my guy.
And the league rule stated you could record from the sideline and the memo said you just couldn't use the tape on the same day.

Goddell doesn't care about the rules, he cares about the "integrity" of the game and will penalize the Pats as a much as possible to "integrity"

Kraft knows he’s old and wants one more before he goes, he is a fan first and foremost. He feels the same way we all do. Last year was a lost season, he has every right to feel impatient the way the rest of us do.

Unfortunately winning a ring is hard and rebuilding a team from the ground up, developing young talent and teaching them how to win is a process. We’ll have a better idea how close they are after this season.

So you think they'll penalize the Patriots because they can?

Hey, the sun rose in the east today. Penalize the Patriots a 3rd rounder.

Seems that way.

Feels like it to me as well... breer mentioned on TV yesterday that the team parallel to us is the jags.. he mentioned that we should have been on that same trajectory as them.. making the post season and winning a game at least.

So now we've gone from "he'll never win a playoff game" to "he'll never win a Super Bowl". Alright, then.

If Bill has his heart set in surpassing Shula—and I bet he sure does—347-329 right now, then he needs Kraft more than than other way around.

Kraft feels tremendous loyalty and gratefulness for Belichick, but another mediocre or even lackluster season, and he very likely tells Bill thanks for everything, this isn’t personal…it’s business.

And we have Mayo as coach and Wolfie or someone as GM. Like it needs to be.

i believe the initial quote was "a meaningful playoff game"

I think the walls are closing in on Bill this season. Kraft basically saying Mayo would be the next coach if things work out the way he hopes means there is a succession plan in place. Kraft is always very likely aware that if Mayo was getting head coaching interviews this offseason he will be getting them next season so he would need to move on from Bill if he did want to keep Mayo. If Belichick has another 8-9 win season and ends up on the outside looking in as far as the playoffs go it seems that Bill is gone. Let him go break that wins record elsewhere and start the process with a new coach and GM. Bill really screwed himself with that idiotic Patricia experiment last year and I think may have stomped out any benefit of doubt about getting one more year past 2023 if he misses the playoffs.

i think if you stop and look at what bill says, and what bob says, and you don't have an agenda to drive callers, or to argue on social media, they are saying the same thing

the most telling line in the bob quote above? "i still believe in bill"

bill says we are on to 2023......we need to be better.....bob is saying the exact same thing

it's almost like......bill has trained bob in what to say to the media

When you put quotation marks around “he’ll never win a playoff game” it implies a quote by me. But I never said that… did I.

I said meaningful playoff games, he’ll never be fighting for a conference championship or a Super Bowl. He had enough trouble beating the 27th worst defense in the NFL for his lone playoff win.

A good way to begin an honest debate is by not starting off with a lie. But this is what LJ truthers have to do though, use cherry picked stats and obfuscation… because he hasn’t won **** and has played horribly in the playoffs… not his team… him.

He’s not saying Mayo is the next head coach, he was heaping praise on Mayo, one of his employees.

The lengths you BB haters go to decipher Bob’s inner feelings says more about you than anything he said.

There’s pressure on all 32 head coaches in the league to win now… it has always been this way, it always will be.

Let me please introduce myself...I'm a man of girth and taste
And I laid traps for my quarterbacks
Who get killed before they reach the next play

So if you meet me have some courtesy... have some sympathy and some taste
Use all your well-learned politesse
Or I'll lay our offense to waste

Restraining orders are normal.

Nothing to see really.

Hey they penalized the Pats for 5th grade science so maybe 1st grade science is enough now lol
