Jacksonville to take over the south from Indy Sunday

I really feel its time for Jacksonville to jump the hurdle and take over the division from the Colts on sunday.

I wished you checked the AFC South standings before making this first sentence. As another reply stated, even if the Jags win Sunday, the Colts will still have the edge in the tiebreakers. Only way at this point for the Jags to win the South is by having a better W-L record than Indy (meaning no tiebreaker help), which I think their chances are small.

With the Steelers being 1 game back in playoff seedings, the Colts need to win this game nonetheless.

The Jags DEF. has a chance... anyone who doesn't think so, is...

end of sunday all we will hear about is the 'under the radar colts' about a 100 times.

I'm really leaning towards Jacksonville here. I think the Jags are one of 2 or 3 teams that could take out the Pats at some point and it's because of their style. No team has a better 1-2 punch running the ball then the Jags do with Jones-Drew and Taylor and David Garrard has been brilliant this year. You can't turn the ball over and you have to run it against the Pats, something the Jags will do. They're also physical on defense and have Reggie Nelson and Rasheen Mathis to put licks on Moss and take him out of his game ala the Philly game. When they get Marcus Stroud and Mike Peterson back at DT and MLB, they're just as good as anyone in the front 7.

Jacksonville 24
Indianapolis 20

I don't think so the Jags are the 23rd ranked defense. They give up way too many big plays. I hope I'm wrong but I don't see them winning.

My guess is Indy will win. I think thier the better overall team.
