Sorry to all those lamar fans out there but i dont want to pay a guy that is more of a rb than qb and cant stay healthy and give up assets not to mention pay up for him , this team needs o line d line secondary and reciever help... so to the espn talking heads like niko and to the mac jones haters club on weei like wiggy cox and adam jones... Stick to the plan let see how mac jones does after that wasted year last year get him one more wr build the o line up thru the draft and stop the lamar jackson nonsense , he is not that good as they say ,

There is zero chance bill trades 2 firsts and pays Jackson a fully guaranteed contract.

Guy wouldn't even pay Meyers $11million

To be honest Jacobi cost us this game I believe Bill holds grudges for stupid football.
Remember Cooks going up in the air getting knocked out in the superbowl traded asap.
Players fumble either get way less Carrie’s or never put back in that game again.
Patrick pass big fumble, Ellis Hobbs getting beat in the superbowl. No fault of his own but wasn’t he traded to the Eagles that offseason?
Asante Samuel giving up as many big plays as he made.
Bill has no tolerance for critical miscues.

I believe there was no plan to bring Meyers back.

They call getting him a "super bowl move" which is baffling since to get to the super bowl you need guys who A) Are available in January/February; and B) Don't fold in Jan/Feb when they do manage to make it there in one piece.

Maybe a new scheme would benefit Lamar?
One where he’s not in harms way so much which would limit his injuries and allow him to be available.

At this point he’s a Raven or a Colt.

So it’s a moot point.

Seems like a new Lamar thread pops up every week. Love it! There are about 25 teams in the NFL that should be making a run at Lamar. Including the Patriots.

I love LJ, and the excitement he brings.. I also like Mac and agree that Mac will be in a better working environment under some real offensive structure with BOB and be able to actually game plan towards Mac's strengths.. so let the Mac haters hate.. this kid has that competitive fire in him.. Mac wants to be great.. I feel the team will add another WR or 2 and we can have a competitive offense.. the only thing I'd have to disagree on is Lamar is dynamic.. he's the only player defensive coordinators admitted they can't solve.. now yes he runs around a little much but that can be adjusted.. but again now I'm a Mac supporter just like you and I want this year to be redemptive for Mac...

I love Lamar Jackson and the fan in me would love to see it. But his style of play is going to make him break down really young and the Patriots would have to probably pay for 3-4 seasons of him being almost unavailable.

It’d be fun as hell the next 2-4 years though.

Except when he does. e.g., Gunner had a muffed punt his rookie year and he was back out on PR duty that same game.

And in particular, Cooks is a bit of an odd case. I'm not sure the Pats were planning to get rid of him, but the Rams basically paid offered more draft capital than they paid to get him in the first place. [And putting Pass in this list isn't quite fair; he suffered an injury and the sudden pain caused him to fumble.]

Because he chose to pay it to someone better

It seems like the owners have decided to not keep making the same mistake the Browns owner made in giving Watson a guaranteed contract, Kraft wouldn’t break ranks from the rest of the owners.

I can imagine what lowners meetings are like now when this subject comes up with the Browns owner in the room.

There are some good young QB’s whose rookie contracts are ending soon and the owners do not want to hand out 250 million guaranteed contracts to them.
