As his NFL future hangs in the balance heading into the 2021 season following the past couple seasons of injuries and struggles, quarterback Cam Newton is continuing to put in the work this offseason in the hopes he can be the one to lead the Patriots back to the playoffs.
With a first round rookie quarterback now waiting for his opportunity right behind him, Newton will have little margin for error heading into the start of training camp later this summer.
According to ESPN Boston’s Mike Reiss on Sunday, Newton has been working with a throwing coach in an effort to rebuild some of his passing fundamentals this offseason.
Over the weekend, Newton shared some behind-the-scenes footage over his YouTube channel from one of his recent workouts.
Take a look for yourself below.
As for how much the training will have made a difference remains to be seen until their is contact and padded practices, but for now the starting quarterback job in New England remains Newton’s if he can bounceback.
