Outside shot of making the playoffs to face one of the Bills/Bengals/Chiefs in round 1 on the road? Not sure how that is "fantastic shape".We're in fantastic shape at this point in mid-March. We've retained the whole D, with only 1 db move needed to account for McCourty retiring. We survived the loss of Meyers with an even better option in JuJu, and are greatly improved at TE with Gesicki over Jonnu. We're also better at RB with Robinson, and better at OT with Reiff & Anderson even if we don't further improve it. After a year together, expect big improvements from Mac, Thornton, Bourne, and Parker. Better offensive coaches will help all around, plus there's still months of free agency and we have a strong draft board.
Curran is insinuating the Pats are done on offense. What y’all think?
I heard that and he brought up Brandon Cooks.I don't really expect any more moves, but Zolak was saying the Gesicki deal was the "first domino" and that there would be more other moves. I think Zolak is more plugged in than Curran.
You're right. If we were to sign him, one of Parker or Bourne are gone.I think we could get alot out of mackenzie, always seemed like a good fit for our offence. Speed speed speed. But you guys are right that WR group is getting heavy especially if we are still looking for a number 1.
I should add i am not 100% convinced Bourne and or Parker are here to start the season
Cooks would be fine. Hes not the #1 they need, more of a #3 at this point. Maybe they view Thornton as their #1 in waiting...I don't see it.I heard that and he brought up Brandon Cooks.

I would be happy with Cooks. I don't think the Pats are going to get a number one they are going to find different mismatches on every drive/play and target those rather than having a number one target. Cooks and Thornton would be good match ups for when teams try to stack the box/flood the first 10 yards in a zone.I heard that and he brought up Brandon Cooks.
I wouldn’t mind Zay Flowers at 14.I had a similar thought too. However if you can find someone significant to upgrade Bourne or Parker then I'd still consider it. And I certainly would bring another high rookie in to compete with Thornton. 2nd Rd at least if not 14 tho I think I want corner at 14.
