Ramsey at CB, David long at LB, D hop at WR for me...See a few linebackers there... Why no Leighton Vander Esch, from Dallas... Guy is a thumper...

I just know that over the years players would always say they ended up taking less to play here with brady for a chance to win. James Harrison said he was offered much more by Baltimore but chose New England because he wanted to win he said.
There's a host of players who've said that over the years. We had the luxury of being in big games each season so that and the attraction of playing with brady and learning under BB was the allure that players got.
Once we start winning again that attraction with come back. So the team knew they could offer players what they felt was a fair offer becuase of those said reasons.

The main reasons Harrison signed with the Pats were the chance to play for Belichick and for the organization's winning pedigree. The words Tom and Brady are conspicuous in their absence in that tweet.
Also, please show me any legit source that indicated that Baltimore offer him “way more”. I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure that you made that up.
“The Patriots aren’t attractive to free agents without Brady” has already been regurgitated on multiple occasions in multiple threads so far this off-season, just like last off-season. For many posters, it is just a slightly more subtle way to keep the Brady over Bill argument alive and also to keep Twommy as part of their lives 4EVA. It is also a bullsh*t argument, with the possible exception of free agent skill position players.
Just like is was for Harrison, BB’s reputation amongst players & the organization's winning pedigree were the main draws (other than money, of course) for many of the free agents. They don’t need Brady, they need to recapture that winning pedigree and if they have pay a little more for key free agents in the present than they would have a few years ago (in relative terms) in order to get back into the legit contender tier, so be it.
Correct; slipped my mind.See a few linebackers there... Why no Leighton Vander Esch, from Dallas... Guy is a thumper...
I agree they attracted some players who wanted a ring. Im just saying people like Van Noy made out worse for leaving. When you realize that Van Noy's big deal had a $5m bonus and a $3m salary, he was then cut immediately, then signed for peanuts, and is playing for the veteran minimum now, you wonder if he'd be better off. He was supposed to average $13m in Miami for a long term contract. Instead he made $8m, $6m with Patriots, $2m vet min with Chargers for a total of $16m over 3 years. He had been averaging $8m a year with the Patriots prior to that. $13m a year looked great to him when he left, but instead he earned $6m a year, less than the $8m he'd been earning with the Patriots.Right and I agree with what your saying. In van noys case he was initially traded here and became a great player for us.
He then got a big deal elsewhere, becuase he had gotten a ring and wanted to get paid. He actually got paid twice by Miami and the chargers.

Interesting... Will have to look at some cowpoke games and take a look seeCant hide youre patsfan : always looking for the next thumper no matter how many already on the pile : )
although i wouldnt call LVE a thumper - his tackles come quite a few yds back of LOS - at least Bentley and Tavai are able to make them on LOS
Okay watched a few vids... I concur that he isn't a true thumper... One narrator said he a pursuit backer, who wraps guys up instead of laying them out... did notice he was steady in position -or gap- discipline if you prefer... But he does play deep so I'm not sure if gap is the correct word/ term to use ...Cant hide youre patsfan : always looking for the next thumper no matter how many already on the pile : )

I don’t think Harris will be back here there is alot of moving parts at rb in the league this offseason. He's legit
Vikings are open for business?
Trade-
To NE: WR Justin Jefferson
To Min: TE Jonnu Smith
Seems straightforward.
