People in general bring up the age/longevity angle too much imo. You have guys like Tom and Lebron playing well past what many expected. Modern medicine, training regiments and nutrition along with committed athletes leads to many playing at a high level contrary to those in previous generations. 40 is the new 30 lol.

If Mahomes is really as good as advertised (he is imo), combined with a brilliant offensive master mind in Reid and the refs in their back pockets, they will most certainly be a threat. Personally, I really have no issue with greatness being on display. I just do NOT respect when guys like Mahomes/Lebron consistently get calls to tilt the field/court in their favor. This is the dark side of pro sports - its an entertainment business first and foremost (and a billion dollar industry). Meaning externals factors come into play and nothing in life is ever really "fair".
All the greats get the calls in thier favor, be jordan, kobe ect.. same for the GOAT we were the beneficiary of alot of Calls that went our way .. ex. Raiders.
Lol
But your right, Brady is wired differently, he has a burning desire that never flamed out. .. I say those qbs won't have as long a career as mahomes is already having injury issues, he's had turf toe, the knee injury and now dealing with ankle injuries..

As they say as your career prolongs you don't get healthier as you get older..

Allen of the QBs will have the shortest career span, as his playing style is definitely conducive to high degrees of injuries.. Joe "Brady" in Cincy will have the longest career in my humble opinion of the 3 great QBs..

Also Hurts is still growing as a passer.. not to long ago his team wasn't even sure if he was the answer.. a GM makes a stupid move and gives away A.J brown and next thing you know his career takes off! But mahomes Clealy is the best QB and as you stated all the best QBs are in the powerhouse AFC.. imagine the buyers remorse Jerry Jones must have on the DAK contract..
Bama got rid of Hurts so he has a chance to be really good.

Reid did his time and deserves the success he has had. He hit on mahomes and has continually innovated on offense. He's been through tough times and continues to succeed. They're the dynasty of this decade
They are in no way, shape or form a dynasty. You need to win 3 out of 4,4 out of 6 or even 3 out of 5. If they win next year, then that's a dynasty.

All the greats get calls - sure. But some more than others. And Lebron/Mahomes are at the top of the list for me having watched over 25 years of pro sports.

While Tom/NE wasnt at the bottom in terms of officiating treatment, we were certainly not at the top either. If you saw those 2015 games vs Denver (both the regular season and AFCC), or the ones in 2018 and 2019 vs Mahomes. You would have been able to see that it was obvious we were getting the shaft in favor of Peyton/Mahomes.

I haven't missed a patriots game since maybe 03, so I'm definitely aware of this..

The way we shut down the NFLs darling Manning and Co, the rules were changed becuase of us.. as we continued to win.. then the Brady rule as they call it got established.. when Ray Lewis said just put flags on them.. lol

Yes we did get hosed in those games as you mentioned especially in 2019 at home against the Chiefs.. we win that game, then the loss against Miami meant nothing that season...

So your right we got hosed big time that game!

Even the Eagles DB admitted it was a hold and didn’t begrudge the officials for the call.
He needs to watch the 25 replays that show no penalty.

Someone's getting jealous of the Chiefs lol.

In every super bowl you listed you can point to referee assistance (screw ups) that helped the winning team

The Patriots redefined what a dynasty is. I quess you could break up the 20 years into 2 dynasties. 2 dynasties in 20 years is almost impossible. A 20 year one may not ever be duplicated.

The refs guaranteed wins for the Chiefs in the AFCCG and Super Bowl. You can't name a more blatant example of a team benefitting so much from highly favorable officiating in bigger games and bigger moments.

People tend to forget how the NFL rules were changed because of us... even during the span of "04 to "14 we still were in superbowls.. I've mentioned this before, look at KCs offense this season post tyreek Hill, looks eerily similar to a team that won alot, was always in conference championships and superbowls not to long ago..

Not related to officiating, but has Mahomes been labeled a "game manager" since he only threw for 182 yards in the Super Bowl? Or that he had to rely on Butker to win the game (and the AFCCG)? Or that 3 point SB wins "don't really count?"

I remember those claims being thrown around a lot about Brady and the Patriots after their first 3 SB wins.

um, super bowl 41?

Rowthliaberger clearly did not get in the end zone. biggest blown call in NFL history.

edit: i meant super bowl 40
LOL! "Rowthliaberger" Nice try I guess.

Officiating gave the Chiefs two wins (AFCCG and SB). I think the Eagles have a game-tying drive at least and I'm not discounting a TD in that spot either. I'm 100% convinced the Chiefs don't win the AFCCG without help from the refs.

Can you change your nauseating profile pic? I've never put anyone on ignore before but if I have to continue looking at that GD picture of Mahomes then you might be the first.
